Perhaps I have missed something in previous posts concerning this. Having spent a considerable amount of time customizing my RightClick menu, you can imagine my total joy at finding all those settings lost after upgrading to the lastest version dated 8-29-07. Tried that but it doesn't work. Is this the first time you tried the RC program? Did you install the beta version that just became available a few days ago? There seems to be a few issues with that version and the new windowblind 6 Are you using Vista ? Another question is, why wont my serial number work? Have you added your serial number to the account info in stardock central and hit the update button ? Your profile doesnt show you as being a stardock customer so it would appear you have not entered it correctly or...because of the Holiday weekend in USA there might be a delay in updating info. Be patient..I know when you buy something you expect it to work immediately...

Can I assume that by the lack of activity on this thread that this is still unsolved? Its not a ' usual ' problem..I've never actually had this happen but I think the only thing you can do is remove the RC program using the OD Zapper removal tool ..then reinstall the RC program.. odnt_zapper WWW Link

I agree, it'd be nice to be able to add a pop-up called "Windows defaul RC" and have it pull up the non-RC options. yep...thats always been one of the wish things. Although when on my desktop there is a key on the right next to my CTRL key that brings up the default desktop rightclick so im use to using that ..but it would be nice that RC program would include that - as well as the option to save configerations which has been a problem from day 1 ..

This thread is about upload issues. Uploaded files this am between 7 and 8 30 am est with no problem. At 9 am I had one more file to upload..oddly , it was the smallest file ( 168 kbs ) that gave me the problem. I filled out the info and the progress bar showed no progress. Exited site and retried filling out info 3 times - same result. Before 4th try, I exited site , cleaned cookies and temps and relogged in. Filled out upload info, waited for progress

Ok, I'll try deleting the contents of the folder you mentioned. Thanks for your help! Your welcome You can delete the contents of that folder anytime...It just puts the skins back there when you use that windowblind again...but when you switch to a new skin watch for the message that shows OB importing...Most of the time its just like Lantec said above..just highlight the option - highlight another skin then go back to that option and

I don't have Object Bar installed (I don't think it even existed when I tried Right Click before and, if I remember correctly, RC used the current WB skin back then). I take it that OB is now necessary for RC to use the current WB skin? Pic...you do not need Object bar installed..I dont have it either. Its just that RC uses OB to import the RC when you have a blind up that hasnt used the RC skin yet.

Someone please tell me if I'm missing something. I've got checked 'Use Windowblinds Skin' but I get the same skin for RightClick no matter what Windowblind I have loaded. Is this the first time you've used RC ? When you have chosen the " Use Windowblind Skin " it will not change until you see object bar import the windowblind skin. You can try unloading windowblinds and going to the RightClick folder > WBSkinImport > Skin Repositor

I received that email with coupon to renew my OD in July too. So I did. But my OD yearly subscription was due to expire sometime in August anyway. I think the discount email was a bit confusing, I totally missed out the 2009 date and I would have just renewed my OD for 2 years at that time but I saw no option to do this...only the standard 1 year.. The 20% off was a good deal..I wish it had been a 2 year option..I would have taken it.

Thanks everyone. Looks like there are much more people still using it than I thought. Apparently, Throbbers are still on list of things needing to be skinned. I use FF but I have IE 6 in case... as for that annoying throbber, I use the ' ThrobOff ' program to get rid of it.

Was this just an update to make it compatible with Vista ? I gather there is still no PNG support for RC - and its still magic pink and bmps Thats a disappointment..would make skinning RC much easier if pngs. Hopefully in the final release it will include this.

I find it hard to believe you can't install it yourself...you're a smart lady. But even if that's the case...get some geek in you're area to do it...from a local computer store or something. It's really not that hard, and I'm sure it wouldn't cost much if you signed up with a dsl or cable provider that supplied the necessary hardware and software...they could get it up and running in no time. A 4 or 5 mb upload at DA or WC takes 1 or 2 minutes...I don
