MM: This article is pretty heartless. Who cares? I'm guessing his mother--most likely his brothers and sisters if he has any. His friends, extended family. His coaches, his teammates, his old classmates, his neighbors. I'm with Loca--to be so low (emotionally) to want to end it all--that's not a good place to be, and I certai

There have been no reported cases here in Va Actually, there have been two reported cases in Virginia. I was hoping that it was something along the lines of what Kelly was saying--that the child ate the contaminated spinach before anyone was made aware of it. Regardless, my heart goes out to the parents.

Thanks! LOL, and thanks for noticing the cake TW: I stopped by this thread last night, but was too lazy to log in to actually comment--however, my comment would have been about the cake. I was actually spent quite a bit of time debating whether or not you made it yourself (concluded you did--remembered some other cake you made (for Adrian, mayb

VERY EXCITING. I'm thrilled for you! I can't wait to hear all about your theatre adventures. There was a long time in which I thought Stage Managing would be my dream job--of course, not my dream pay though!! As Shovel said, "Break a Leg."

Brilliant news, Nic. For fear of jinxing, I will hold off all further comments until you've signed the papers and have started!

1. D and I are going to see Shakira and Wycelf tonight. It feels like it's been ages since I've been to a show, but really it was only March or April (I can't remember if the last show was Coldplay or the Pogues). Anyway, D is moving away on Saturday, so this will start the goodbye festivities off on a good note. Dinner at Fado beforehand (and of course a few post

And I am glad to see you posting again. I've missed you! Well, it was your note that motivated me. I've got one to send back to you--I just have to remember to stick a stamp on it!

But you can't post anymore using Safari, which is annoying. That's running Safari 2.0 with all the most recent updates. I just noticed the same thing. Guess I won't be blogging as much...

You should definitely do it sometime InBloom. I'm a big fan. My parents actually have a paddle boat in their backyard--but for some reason it is much more fun to do it around amazing monuments than at home.

I could never wait to be seated, no matter how good the food or the price, I push on to another restaurant - but then, I am an impatient old git aren't I? I'm usually much the same way-which is why it is surprising that I lasted long enough to find out just how worth it this place is. <TABLE

It certainly has been a while. I wasn't even quite sure that I remembered how to create a new article. Luckily blogging appears to be a lot like riding a bike and at the moment I'm riding along and haven't yet scraped my knees. I'm hoping to keep it that way. I received a note in the post yesterday that reminded me

said we usually don't have a TV. We do off and on, but for all intents and purposes, we don't, because all it really is is a video player (you need an outside antenna out here to even THINK about getting local channels, and that's $100 out of pocket, and dish and cable are too expansive to use as viable options). And some movies

Not everyone has a silver spoon in their mouths or someone who can help them financially when they need it. So as Braedan mentioned, for some, it's the exception Hate to argue with you here FS, because I usually think you are spot on. But not everyone who graduated on time or early had a silver spoon in their mouth or someone bankrolling them ei

and she answered, "isn't it what June Carter played in "Walk the Line?" Forgive the awfully silly question about to follow, but, if you dont have a tv, how'd she see Walk the Line (If I know you at all you certainly didn't take the whole family to the cinema and get gouged by those prices!) <img src="h

After Sen. George Allen called someone "Mr. Macaca, or whatever his name is". Allen didn't call him "Mr. Macaca." He said, "this fellow here, macaca or whatever his name is." You can see it here: Link Personally, I think it was ignoran

So Trin, you are never going to have a baby or get married? Loca--remember this is the same girl who chastised us all for kissing before marriage. I'm pretty sure she's changed her tune on that one, and suspect with time will change her tune on this one too. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Bod
