ObjectDock Docklets are DLL programmed in C or C++ that exports a few callbacks functions. These functions are called when a user manipulate the docklet. Building a docklet in .Net directly is impossible as ObjectDock doesn't support managed code docklets. Thus, you need some kind of "proxy" that knows about .Net docklets and will be able to interact with them, rel

I'm looking for people to help me test .Net Support for ObjectDock. What you will have to do is simply try to build a docklet using the sdk and send me suggestions & bug reports (or not, if you feel evil :)). The more of the SDK you use, the better, of course, but building a simple docklet will work too. Here is an explanation of the way

Sure, you can use tables all you want an apply styles to them (I used them for the library list on the left column). Sometimes using tables is the way to go, but for boxes and lists, I think you should avoid them if you can, as it complicates the code a lot

Thank you I have been working on other things in the last few weeks ( ) and haven't been able to update it as I wanted, in particular to support Opera better. I also want to add per-tab background color (using the body id). You should take a look at this site: <a hre

Disclaimer: I'm not working for Stardock, so this may never be implemented on the live site. Contrary to the old site, the new Wincustomize doesn't allow you to change the theme of the site to your liking. According to T-Man (see this thread: Link ), the site is going to have themes, but only the admins will be able to change them, and they will be changed for a

Introduction In some past articles, Brad described his idea of a Todo plugin for ObjectDock. Since nobody seems to have taken on the idea, I decided to try to do build it myself. This article is the first of a series that will describe the process of building the plugin. It will come with the source code. It will be lic

Well, the game is on SDCentral and playable, you just have to look a little bit deeper (hint: there are some nice xml files in the data directory) Oh, and if you get to the point where you can install it, be sure you install all at once without changing tabs within SDCentral, otherwise it wil

Hi Brad, There seems to be a problem with the Issue Editor. There is a 25 cararacters limitation for issue name, but some of the issues are well above that ("Private Accounts for Social Security" is 35 car long for exemple). Changing those is not possible. Even editing them brings an error dialog box. I'm also having problems with the intro. There is a lot of graphic corruption in the bottom of the screen. Windows XP SP2 RC1<

Have you tried contacting Nec directly ? (see http://www.necmitsubishi.com/css/contact/contact.htm). They will probably replace it. One of my friend had one with a scratch. They sent someone to pick it up and give him a new one within a week.
What language did you write it in?
It's written in C#, so you need the .NET Framework to run it. It might not be the best choice for that kind of tool as it's a rather big download, but I began to work on that project to teach myself C#. I know you can interact with program or dlls writing in VB6 or other languages via COM Interop, but I don't know how to do it yet. I will have to look into it. I think Strategy First is going to do a French version. I started to translate it back in December. Diplomacy and the Tech Tree aren't translated yet unfortunately. And the build I have doesn't seem to like accentuated chars :( -- Je pense que Strategy First va faire une version française. J'ai commencé à traduire Galciv en décembre dernier. Les dialogues de diplomatie et l'arbre des technologies ne sont malheureusement pas encore traduits. Et la version dont je dispose

In the foreign policy screen, select the minor races tab. Race's picture appears in the bottom left corner. Go to another screen such as research. Then come back to the foreign policy screen. The picture of one of the 5 major civs appears in the bottom left corner instead of the one from the minor civ. Actually, if you click on the foreign policy button just after selecting the minor races tab, it has the same effect.
