There ya go SD - you've cracked it.
Alternate Setting
Whilst I would describe the activities of Team Sploit as being that of Crackers rather than Hackers and as such not that which I would want to support or expect to see supported here at Wincustomize. I note the request itself was polite and hope we respond in a like manner.
Yup - he was a classic. Gonna have to get one of his video's.
Just a couple to break the ice :- Link
Test Ok - seems to work for new posts If it is possible - I'd appreciate it if you could you check that this name hasn't been adopted previously by another existing member ? Cheers.
Cheers Flyin - I'll give it a go - my main concern was doing it this way may lead to duplication of somebody else's existing Nick. Keep up the good work Additional - I have now changed my Nick to 'Alternate Setting'. This seems to be recognised through most
Seems a shame to start a new thread, so I'll ride on this one. I've been wanting to change my nick. The only place I've seen that references this at the moment is:- My Account > Account Information > Vital Stats > Nick Name Would this be an appropriate place to try and register a change or is there another preferred method (either presently in existence or planned) ? Feedback from anyone in the
Save me Orb'i-wan. In a Galaxy far, far away - the force groaned.
According to the link it's to be found in this suite:- Link
I remembered this nifty little application from ChrisNYC doing the rounds last year. "made to automatically create bootskin ini files and help position the animated "progress" bar." Link When you've opened the page - click o
I guess the most satisfying read from a literary standpoint that I've had in the last few years would be Pullmans 'Dark Materials' trilogy. But that's by the by - the real reason I posted was to help inform your question about plot variations:- Link I hope it is of some use.
Hi Punisher The I can't put you onto the icons your after, but I do note that you have uploaded several of your own to WC libraries since you joined. So I do hope someone can help. Be aware that depending on the author and his/her wishes, it may not be appropriate for someone else to distribute them to you - but I wish you luck anyway. </f
The important thing is not to anthropomorphise browsers - they really don't like that
If I can't get back I'll leave this last and endearing message ringing out to everyone... Grand exit, stage right doesn't work if you press the button twice. P.S. Can it be coincidence that both my chocolate
I love this liveCD stuff. I'm not familiar with Mepis (yet) but this link may save those interested a little web-searching. Link
. I heard a quote once (can't remember who said it) that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic if you happen to recall it, id be really interested in the source. This snagged my interest so I checked it out. It turns out the quote is attributable to Arthur C. Clar
Yup - I'm a fairly long time Firefox user running the latest build and also running the latest Microsoft anti-spyware updates. No negative reports of any kind on my machine.
Thanks for the extra effort you're making with this RedBuzzard. I'm sure it'll save some people much pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth.
It's not the way I choose to do it, although some people do and report having no problems. I always prefer to uninstall the old and then install the new. That way if you do have a problem for any reason and need to check it out - you ain't gonna get sidetracked by folks raising the possibility that this led to a conflict. (Not that it should be an issue this time, I also always keep a copy of the Firefox.exe build I'm updating, just in case
Cheers tjesterb . This was a simple update and all my extensions carried over nicely with one exception. For some reason I had to re-install my Googlebar. For those that are wondering - you can still access IDN sites - however the punycode will now display in the address bar. So it does appear to be a fix and not an IDN blocking fudge. <img src="http

Translator! Translator! My kingdom for a translator! They broke, he fixed it - and in the fullness of time we can all download it.
I just downloaded the trial version - linked my laptop (Primary) to my desktop (Secondary) using the wizard in just a couple of minutes, including rebooting. All seems to be as it should.
Much appreciated upgrade - Corky_O and Koasati thanks for the config info.
If you're behind a network but would like to see your actual IP displayed on the desktop then this DesktopX object (can be exported as widget) works just fine for me. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3817&LibID=3
