Earlier stable patches? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

HI all, I'm new to Galactic Civilizations, and it seems like a great game. Sadly there are some bugs in v1.2 that prevent important aspects of information from being saved properly (e.g. United Planet policies are always reset on reload). I've uninstalled the game, and am currently playing the prepatch version (v1.01). However, I would like to play the highest patch BEFORE the saved game problems started to arise. I have tried fresh installs on two different computers, but v1.2 simply refuses to save all rulings with regard to the United Planets. Surely this needs to be fixed urgently.
