Cotal's gone berserk!

What's this, another empire!? Why are you bouncing around the metaverse like this?

Oh dear . . . I guess this question is directed at me . . . um ehrm, well the thing is, there are three good reasons for my apparently 'berserk' empire hoping. Come to think of it there is a fourth reason . . . thanks for reminding me ;) .

Can't help but think that sounded a bit vauge . . . :notsure:

Any chance of you hopping to and then staying in the European Alliance?

lol. Have a blast hopping around. You are more than welcome to wear the Viraxian flag, even if only for a while. LOL

Yes, I see what Cotal's plan is. Very clever Cotal. I wish I'd thought of it, but then, I probably wouldn't have the guts to do it.

I'm not sure what the little yellow symbol is couslee . . . don't tell me let me guess. Is it Big Bird from Sesaeme (sp?) Street eating an Alien? Well that looks good enough to me . . . die alien scum! Chomp, chomp, chomp . . . Hehe . . . Burp! Oh excuse me :d .

I was tempted to join your last empire purely on the grounds of the cute cat logo it had. Guess I'll have to keep looking. :)

ROFL . . . I'm being oppressed! I guess Stardock didn't like my empire hoping either . . . Well I guess my tactical experiment has come to an end . . . I've been locked out . . . mmm . . . sigh :notsure:

Well I might as well tell you what I was trying to do since the gigs up. Emporer Blue of the ANZAC Reps suggested we hold back games and submit them all at once . . . very sneaky but a good idea, well at least I thought so anyway.

When I looked at the Mid-Westerners infront of us (and at thier Web Site) I realized this mightn't be such a bad idea since they were so darn well organized, keeping a buffer between ourselves and them with uncany precision.

I tried this last weekend but accidently over-wrote two of the games I was going to submit . . . doh!(very annoying but funny too). Anyway (if you'd pardon the expression) . . . I just though it would be more fun if I left the ANZAC Reps for a while . . . you know stir things up a bit . . . this seemed to tick a few of them off, I was meaning to e-mail but got lazy. I can see some of you saw through the facarde . . .

The other thing I noticed and this was a suprize was that by leaving an empire and rejoining it the overall score would be recalculated! Further more there seems to be a glitch in the Metaverse in that if you join a much smaller empire and then leave it can almost double its score? Curious . . .

It would seem I'm cursed to walk the Metaverse alone and perhaps deservedly so . . . after all Brad did say 'Play the game not the Metaverse'. Best intentions aside I apologize for my lack of . . . um . . . tact.

Are you saying that if you were to rejoin the ANZACs you'd get a higher score? No wonder you were exiled. If you're left ostracised for a while perhaps stardock will let you backin, provided you stay in one place. As long as long as this dosen't work like the real life ostracism, perhaps you cold hang around the forum anyways? We'd miss you if you left...

Thanks Lord Orpon . . . I appreciate it, I'm not sure if I can still submit games, might try later today. I'm just banned from joining any empires as far as I can tell . . . which seems fair enough.

Vincible . . . reason one was to try and sneak up on the Mids, reason two was to have some fun, three and four were more or less internal matters to do with the ANZAC Reps . . . nothing too interesting . . .

A ban seems awfully harsh for you just having a little fun... a simple request to stop from whoever did the ban at Stardock would have sufficed, I would think.

Seems unfair to me.

Giving each minor empire their moment in the sun was a noble idea.

I switched to the Evil Empire then back again to the ANZACs with no problems.
But then, I am not such an exalted player.
Probably no one even noticed.

A ban is highly unlikely. Try logging off and on again. Then rejoin an empire.

What's happening is that the empire scores are not always refreshed.

When someone joins an empire, the empire totals are recalculated and that refreshes the score.

Alternatively, anyone can just go to the any empire page and click on the refresh empire data link at the bottom of the page.

Thats what you get for eating Big Bird from stress-a-me street. LOL

The answer to what the bird represents is in the Viraxian story line. And obviously your symbiont made you tip your hand. It's the whole good VS evil thing I wrote about. ;)

Quit fighting it, and join. :D

What I really want Cotal to tell us is, how the heck is she managing to crank out a Gigantic Maso game every day, and sometimes even two games in a single day?
