Question for Technician:

Question for Technician:

Here it is:

"Dude. What is UP, man?!"

I don't begrudge anyone their talents for the game, and in fact am highly admiring of anyone who can put in the time and study to excel at anything in life, but this guy is pumping out two or three gigantic/maso victories PER DAY for the past, what... half year or so? What is UP?

Other questions are:

1. How long does each one generally take?
2. How does it not get boring doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again? (At least, when you look at the game record, it looks somewhat repetitive... maybe each of the games is a new, exciting adventure, I dunno.)

I'm afraid this message will sound accusatory, trust me that I don't mean it to. I'm just curious how (and why!) he does it.

I mean, even on Large, the only games I've played which took less than three or four hours were ones that I lost quickly (and there were a LOT of them, don't you worry!)

Is this just a ONE-MAN GC WRECKING CREW or what?

(If this has been discussed before, just point the way. I did a search but failed at finding anything.)

Well I’m glad the air has been cleared.

I now suggest a Guardian cleansing ceremony to take away the old wounds. This is where one drinks the ceremonial beer in the CSF crypt until one passes out. Then one awaits the holy ceremonial Moose to come a snacking.

In this way one forgets the old wounds as he has many new wounds to deal with.

:D

Well, it appears that everyone misunderstood everyone else. Good to know. LOL Matthew, I do want to apologize since based on your comments, they were not warrented. I hope you accept them.

But I do see one good thing about this: We're talking. 178 posts in what, under 5 days? Not too bad for the post-AP Meta. :)

Now, lets forget this whole thing and go get drunk. Who's with me?! :HOT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:

O'kay, I am setting up a party. The beer is no problem as you might imagine the CSF stocks are always full.

We will be handing out our new pamplet for 2 free sessions to the SA meetings now held every Monday and Thursday night. Remember refreshements are always free. We do this to see if the snacks ... :SURPRISED: I mean SA members have learned anything during the 12 step program.

To give everyone a fair chance I am going to have the hair salon give Damoose "glow in the dark" neon highlights, just no one tell him.

Also if we get Damoose drunk enough we will play a little game called pin the little bell on Damoose without him knowing.

That way if you are dozing off and you hear a tinkle and you do not get up well ... :SURPRISED:

I know it will happen to one or two poor souls. :notsure:

In the interest of risky fun I am going to have it on Thursday night right after the SA meeting. :CONGRAT:

A party, eh? Well, you can count on me to be there, sitting in the corner, not drinking, and trying to look moody and interesting.

We have our ... Ahem! I mean I have heard that the CSF has its own brewery run by Damoose.

The CSF makes a top quality beer and gives it away free at the CSF functions. This has the effect of keeping Damoose in Snacks for a very long time. :SURPRISED: ;)

Hey, I think we are being cheated. Damoose promised us Guardians only the real Molsen stuff, not the cheap stuff. He must be swithing somewhere after the first drink or so. :SURPRISED: LOL :D LOL

There is very little addtion to GC as a game, it is the Meta that has caused the addition.

That's a bit of an overstatement. I've been playing GC since the OS/2 days, long before there was a metaverse, and have continued playing because of the fantastic replayability of the game itself. That, and the continuous stream of improvements and mods that keep the game fresh. Of course the metaverse is one of those improvements ;)

I am another that has been playing GC since the OS/2 days.

Anyone still have OS/2 on their machines? Duel boot mode?
I have a 486 in the Basement with OS/2 Warp and GC for OS/2.

I still play GC for OS/2 now and then.

Still very playable.

I like the Tech Tree better on the OS/2 game and I like trade route dialog.

I had to deal with OS/2 on my voicemail machines I serviced, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Reminded me too much of Geoworks or something like that. :VOMIT:
