Rebuilding my first blind

When I first started skinning, I had a lot of ambition and little skill. My first WB was a theme designed to look like the desktop of a CTU agent. It was actually pretty popular despite it's poor construction and lack of esthetique. :\

CTU got pulled from my gallery (by me) early last year.

I have unfortunatly been getting more and more requests for the blind which I have sent to people.

 

I am now working on a total rebuild of this theme and I hope to share it with you in a short time.

 

I'm going for a very specific look hereand trying to make it as authentic as possible. If you say it looks like windows '98 with chopped off corners, then I just might have nailed it ;)

Hey 2of3! I'm a big fan of you! Im waiting for this Theme! Its awesome! Its great someone is doing a theme for a CTU Server! I tried to get your old one, if you can PM me the link, altough you said you wouldn't send it to anyone... :)

Hi 2of3, I was since a long time ago looking for your CTU wb because I was made that time a rëinstall of my system and at the time that i wanted to replace the CTU wb it was not there anymore so you can imaging that I was pleased to read that you are working on a new CTU wb and i can't wait to see the finished version of it, the shots I have seen here are very i mpressing so when it is there I will install it directly and so as the rest of the members I hope it will not take very long to see the CTU wb see the light.

How true. It's a very specific look. No one thinks the CTU GUI is very modern looking and I want to keep it as authentic as possible while still supporting the lastest WB features.

 

 

I'm working on the Win7 substyle now.
