Read the other two pages yet I haven't, but like I would to welcome back the Jedi Academy members! Taken we have a great step in the direction of recovery, and, without great loss in numbers (save one founding member, Lone Locusts ) . All good signs these are, and proof that the shroud of the dark side is lifting; if not only because of all the DARK SIDE in the Temple . This brings warm feelings to my heart (sorry couldn't resist) and I hope that this trend will continue. The Elections are November 8th, Lets get this show back on the road!

Admiral, if you would, please make a simple list of who posts their nomination. This (oddly enough) turned out to be the most diffucult last time arround, just knowing who was running! Come November 7th I will post a sample ballot and the voting lines will be open the 8th through the 10th. The winner will be announced November 15th, unless there is need for a recount ( please no!). Get those nominations in and most of all Have Fun!


P.S.
There is, as you know, an opening for the second most coveted position on the council. The Senior Council Member, Ascended Obi-Wan Kenobi, needs a replacment as second in command. As stated in the constitution http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/jedi_republic/legends/constitution.htm here is an exerpt from the constitution on Senior Councilers:

" the highest ranking Senior Council Member shall serve as interim Head of the Council until a vote of all active Knights can elect a new Head of the Council.

Senior Council Member(s) are to be appointed as necessary by the Head of the Jedi Council. Duties of Senior Council Members will include temporarily acting with the powers of the Head of the Council in the event of extended absence, resignation, assimilation with the Force, assassination, or any other termination of or interruption of services."

I will not make my decision on a replacment until the new councilers have been decided and taken their seats.

Amidala, are you there? Our prized democratic process has begun and you aren't making a peep! Sorry if I put you off earlier, I was still sorting things out in my small green head. You can join these elections if you wish, I'm sure you'll fare well

Master Yoda, when I said that I might have to come in from time to time and knock some heads, I didn't expect to start with yours! KEmperor was officially nominated for the post of Senior Council Member quite some time ago.

Another of the Jedi Master returning to the call of Te Jedi Council, welcome back Master Jedi Weasel of The Hood.

The Jedi Republic has destroyed the last standing outpost of the FOTR empire, now the Jedi troops are gathering again to establsih the true government of the entire Universe the Jedi Theocracy.

Dilli-dali here . . . hehe. So what's news . . . I see much has been happening. Elections and the acsendence of our noble (ish) Empire . . . mmm, so what are we voting for again? Will it be for who's in the Jedi Council or something like that? Who are the canidates or aren't we that far down the track yet . . . sorry I've been busy, I gotta make a bit more of an effort . . .

I'll chech it all out tomorrow . . .

With this comes more power than anyone can possibly imagine... it is counted from the Individual list of players or for the points the player brings to the Republic? There are two scores one for the individual metaverse and one for the empire.

As soon as Alex give me the ftp login I've already gotten the source file for the member bits from obi-wan and made one for myself...

Appropriate name for arguably the most mercenary player the Meta has ever seen.

Well, I've gotten things rolling now, so the roster is updated to show Mayito, Kyp, Weasel, and myself now. I'm too lazy to pore over the entire list and the empire page to tell who else needs to go on so give me a yell if you need to be on there, and also what color you want your saber to be if you don't have one picked already (plus whatever customization options you get for whatever level you are... I'm still pretty hazy on how that's supposed to go :P)

Anyhow, I'm looking at possible options for tweaking parts of the site and improving some things that I feel need improving, in hopes of eventually switching the site over to a dynamically generated system so that others can easily work on other parts without my intervention (like the fleet page). Although I'm rather annoyed with the whole ordeal at the moment, after finding that my spiffy new insignia prototypes look like crap in IE since it doesn't support PNG transparency, instead just making the background a weird reddish color but I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.

Anyhow, since the site is back operational again, like I said I'm taking any comments or suggestions that anybody has, just so long as it isn't anything too big
