Is anybody of the Republic playing lately? I have not seing any score posted lately. Is everybody still around here? Or we are kind on vacation for a while? :notsure:

I know that Darth Kryo is working on the website and couple of people are off right now, but I still wonder why suddenly we stop submitting games?

I'm starting a new Gigantic game now, but I have very little time to play and it will probably be a while before I finish it.

I haven't seen KEmperor in the Forum for a while.

Oh and in case anyone hasn't noticed on the rosters I put up, I threw together new rank insignia from scratch to go with the new site. Hope nobody objects to that... I know the council needs to approve ranking changes but the ranks themselves aren't changing, just the graphics.

I think the ranks could do with restructuring - but whether this is by setting or adding new ones, or by revamping the metaverse scores required is a moot point. I think I'd prefer the latter!

My better half is getting us tickets at lunch today while she does some shopping. Anyone else going to it today? As far as playing, damn if I can find the time now-a-days. I can play maybe 30 minutes at a time before real life comes into play. Hopefully the outlook will get better. Glad to see you around Ray.

Alex, do you have a suggestion on where I could get mySQL for our website? I'm trying to create an e107 website, and the php is working fine, but I need mySQL.

Anyone else have a suggestion? I know kryo is using an e107 for the Jedi website... :notsure:

Nevermind...I think I'll stick to good ole HTML...this mySQL crap is not going well at all.

Interesting, I see how the force is bringing all the seeds of the great empires together under one roof.

After months of waiting my little burg has a grand opening today of a nice, new theatre. 8 screens and all the trimmings formerly available only in the big city. What a perfect movie for me and the family to check out the new place.

Oh, and when the great web site builder gets around to honorary members one day, I was thinking about what kind of picture I could use. The Invisible Man out of League of Extraordinary Gentleman, all dressed up in the cool coat and hat, looks pretty good. Any more suggestions for a sneaky type of picture to assign to the Spymaster?

Well, I just got back from Matrix 3. I don't want to spoil it for everybody else that wants to see it so all I'm gonna say is that it was ok and the ending is a bit ambiguous (probably just the Wachowskis leaving an out if they want to make another Matrix...).

Anyways, seeing that Theoden is trying out e107v6 I'm thinking that I'm going to upload the rest of it on our site (separately from the current version, which is based on e107v5) and see if I can't dig up an updated copy of the theme that I heavily modified into the theme that I modified into the one for the Jedi site.

If I can then I just might be able to rebuild the v5 theme from scratch for v6, since just doing an upgrade basically trashes everything (tried it teh other night and ended up reinstalling e107v5 :notsure: ). If i can get things working and I'll copy over what I've got now to the new version, which is more versatile and less buggy

Sure thing mayito, it'll just have to wait until I nail down which version of e107 I'm going to settle on then I'll do that with the rest of the site conversion.

Well, amazingly, I was able to find the original theme and beat it into submission such that it looks precisely like the old one in a mere three hours! So it looks like we'll be using e107v6 now (I'll have to copy the rosters over and rearrange a few things, then I'll be able to get back into converting the rest of the site).
