If you read my posts in this Forum, you're well aware that I didn't attack Amidala. Nor did I leave the JR because of her. I defended her when others lumped her in with attacks on those that proudly announced they were hoppers. As I said, I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt when they say something. I extended it to you, for instance.

But as you wish I am out of this empire and I will start my own empire. So good bye.

Since when did criticizm from someone in ANOTHER empire qualify as a good enough reason for someone to resign from their empire?

Since other member of this empire took side with the people that are no member of this empire, that makes very clear that I am not welcome any longer here. So I am sorry but if I am not welcome I leave.

As I said in my post, I apologize if I came across as vindictive. That wasn't my intention. I'm just upset that "Cotal-bashing" is turning into a popular sport these days, and asked you to look at it from an outsider's point of view.

If you want to form your own empire, it's your decision. But you're one of the more important voices in the Jedi Republic these days, and it seems wrong to leave over a misunderstanding. There are no "sides" to be taken here. It's not a war, just a discussion.

I have no intention of asking the Jedi to vote on whether I am welcome here. If my presence makes you uncomfortable, I'll stay out of the thread.

I love this empire, I think that is one of the best, but as I already wrote above, some people didn't like my post about Cotal/Amidala, I just said what was in my heart, it is wrong to just out of the blue sky without saying a word about it just decide to cancel all your scores and nail your team making it loose 500K, since she came to this empire, she didn't play one game more, she just popped up once in a while, and with me that is just fine, but empire hopping is wrong, and I am guilty of that, I have done it in the past, when I came here was with the intention to stay put and to no go anywhere else, but when all the mess about empire hopping started I withdrew myself into the Jedi Academy waiting to see what would happen, after everything was calmed and I was asked to rejoin the JR I did so. Now maybe I am wrong by criticizing Amidala, but what she said and was confirmed by the emperor of this republic, was that she would remain here, now without any advice she just deleted all his points plunging our team out of the fight for first place, if you all read my post like was intended you will se that at the end I exhorted everyone to put the past behind and to start a new era in our Republic and play and show the rest of the world that we are a team that really cares for the game, then along the way comes Obi Wan saying all kind of misplaced things about me, like I was the one who left without giving a word of warning, and then other member joined him by saying that his opinion was always welcome, so, his opinion is right and my is wrong, and since my opinion is wrong and the opinion for someone outside of the tem is more important I am leaving and staying out of the team to avoid bad blood between the team players. Have been a pleasure being part of this team. I don't hold anything against anyone, I just feel that the remarks made by Obi Wan were out of place, specially because he was a member of this team and left and didn't return no matter how many times I personally asked him to return. So that is what happened, I don't want to be a motive for division in this team, so I step out that way the cause of the Jedi republic can continue without any further disturbance, if you think that Amidala is right, good luck, maybe she will show up some day and explain why she did such a disfavour to the JR by deleting her score without any word of warning. That was my opinion... I was in this empire with Obi Wan for a long time. I find his opinion to be insightful some times. I never said he was right and you were wrong. Oh well... you seem to do what you want any way. Bye bye... again Mayito7777.

I am amazed at the amount of over reacting that happens in these forum. I thought it was unfair for our empire to gain 500k from an inactive player, and many others agreed including Amidala, I believe. She found a way to have her past scores not have an impact on the metaverse anymore, and that's her choice. If she had cleared her scores first and then joined our empire, would you be upset then? Maybe she took away some hope of getting to first place, but she's still here and any games she plays will get added to our score. I think it was the right thing to do.

Ok, I have been away for a while, but I have been popping in and reading the Jedi forum from time to time. RL has gotten a bit hectic lately, so no time for Galciv for a little while. I will be back eventually, so watch out when that happens.

First off, congrats on an excellent website Darth Kyro. I am impressed, and when it is done I think it will be talk of the metaverse.

I am sad about Amidala disappearing, but I dont take it personally. She didn't jump to another empire, she simply deleted her score. That's her business and I wish her well in playing other games. We are still a top power in this metaverse and we can capture #1 again with a little hard work from the members.

I must say Mayito, I think you overreacted by leaving the empire because Obi-Wan said something you didn't like. He isn't even part of this empire anymore, although in my opinion he is welcome back anytime. By empire hopping again, you have only proved him right.

And to everyone, please remember that this is just a game. Its really not important who has what score and who is in what empire. I think its best if you just pick an empire, and play your heart out. And most of all, have fun doing it and dont let the politics of the metaverse get to you.

I agree with you, if she had choose to clear all her points before joining us and start from zero, would have been the best thing to do, I was one of the ones who apologized to her for all the rambling about her hopping from one empire to another, I even try to make her stance here comfortable, and you can check my previous post toward her, but as I said that is part of the past, and I will repeat again we must keep playing, and I agree thast my exit was abrupt and unnecesary, so I apologize for that, and was no my intention to leave the JR anyhow, so my apologies again if I offended anyone including Amidala, if she wants to be part of this team welcome. I am returning, but I will not be posting so often as I was doing. So again my apologies if I offended anyone inncluding you Amidala.

Now that the differences have been smoothed out, lets play and get to the first place.

It's worth noting that Amidala has contributed a score now - it looks like she's determined to climb back to the top on her own merits!

I appreciate your apology. As I said earlier, this is a discussion and not a war.

Again, I apologize if you took my comments as a personal insult, or a comment on your record. Judging from your response, it seems pretty clear that you did.

I was calling for less name-calling towards Amidala. Comparing her record with yours was a way of showing that everything depends on your point of view, so insults aren't appropriate. "Even in its worst times, the Jedi Republic was always a place where people were respected, not attacked." If those comments came off too strong and you thought I was insulting you, again, sorry.

I consider the JR as my "business" because I made quite a few friends in the time that I was here, and care about the empire. If my posts have been infrequent lately, it's because I've been trying to let the Jedi find their own new voice. I do drop emails to Yoda from time to time.

You got me on one of my down days, so if I was stupid with my comments I ask you to forgive my wrong use of words and the stupid comments, o I hope we can remain as friends, I didn't reply to your e-mail, because your e-mail went to my work e-mail address, so I didn't have time yet to answer, so here goes my answer, sorry for letting a game get me so upset, I know, shame on me, but it is hard to admit when you love this game so much. So if anyone else feels that I owe an apology, I sure will be glad to apologize to them properly. Thanks for not taking my words as an insult.
