]P.S.There is, as you know, an opening for the second most coveted position on the council. The Senior Council Member, Ascended Obi-Wan Kenobi, needs a replacment as second in command. As stated in the constitution Link here is an exerpt from the constitution on Senior Councilers:" the highest ranking Senior Council Member shall serve as interim Head of the Council until a vote of all active Knights can elect a new Head of the Council.Senior Council Member(s) are to be appointed as necessary by the Head of the Jedi Council. Duties of Senior Council Members will include temporarily acting with the powers of the Head of the Council in the event of extended absence, resignation, assimilation with the Force, assassination, or any other termination of or interruption of services."I will not make my decision on a replacment until the new councilers have been decided and taken their seats.

Jedi Master Yoda,

The time has come to address this issue. IMO Qui-Gon should get #2 spot since he is already a Senior Council Member. If there needs to be another Senior Council Member besides him, we need to know if there will be nominations, and if you want the whole Republic's opinion or just the Council's. Or if you want no one's opinion and are just going to appoint someone.

I want to bring to the attention of The Jedi Council a matter of most importance, I want to nominate Theoden of Rohan to the Jedi medal of Honor for his great services as Director, reporter and Administrator of "The Metaverse Review" I think that he deserves this nomination, I was trying to find a nice picture for a Jedi Medal but I couldn't find any, so if anyone finds a pic that we could post for Theoden would be apprecciated. ;)

He is a Senior Council Member, but I always keep two, and Obi Wan was the second before his departure. Sorry for not making it clearer.

Here is a rough idea of what I had in mind for the new rank Mpt requirements. The current numbers are on the website http://jedi.galciv.org/ .



Level 0: 0-4000 Mpts
Jedi Initiate
Sith Underling

The lowest Jedi Rank, assigned when someone first joins the Order.



Level 1: 4001-10,000 Mpts
Jedi Padawan
Sith Apprentice

Rank given when a person is chosen by a Knight for training beyond the Jedi Temple.



Level 2: 10,001-15,000 Mpts
Jedi Healer
Sith Alchemist

This rank implies that the person is no longer a Padawan, but has not yet reached full Knighthood.




Level 3: 15,001-20,000 Mpts
Jedi Knight
Sith Warrior

A person with this rank has full access to the Jedi Library and may choose a Padawan to train.


Level 4: 20,001-75,000 Mpts
Jedi Guardian
Sith Seeker

A person with this rank has shown great skill, and is more powerful than a normal Knight, but has not yet reached Master.


Level 5: 75,001-150,000 Mpts
Jedi Master
Sith Lord

A person with this rank has full authority as a Jedi and can usually see the future...



Level 6: 150,001-250,000 Mpts
Jedi Advisor
Sith Vizier

One who has gone off to study the Force, but returned to share what he or she has learned.


Level 7: 250,001-499,999 Mpts
Jedi Chosen
Sith Shadow

One who will finally bring balance to the Force....


Level 8: 500,000+ Mpts
Ascended Jedi
Sith Apparition

The ultimate rank, reserved only for those Jedi who have exited this plane of existence and become one with the Force. With this comes more power than anyone can possibly imagine...




These are pretty steep raises, and many will fall in rank, but hopefully we will not need to redo the list for a while afterwards and you can have something more to work for if your reaching the end of the current system. I structured it so as to have the first ranks be low in Mpts with a steady rise in difficulty as you reach higher ranks, particularly the "Jedi Master" and "Ascended Jedi" levels as these are milestones in any Jedi's career.

Well you already know my opinion on a rank restructuring, since that would entail my having to redo all of the member bits and I's have to get idle to adjsut the bot page... :(
