A War of Will: Part II
Trouble in Paradise

Two weeks after the start of the war, and the unveiling of the "Eraser" Superweapon, the Jedi Republic ran into problems in its war effort.

Aboard the USS Eraser II
Captain, we have completed the rearm checklist, all systems are operating at full efficientcy.

"Hmm! Very good, I think it's time we demonstrated the power of this fully operational battleship! Set your course for sector 85, 25 in the Alpha Quadrant, we'll show up right under their noses..."

The Alpha Quadrant
"What a pathetic place to live... look, that planet is barely PQ 15! Ah, no matter, it won't be here long enough to get on my nerves.. hahahaha!"

Sir, we have detected multiple Euro ships on our scanners. They are approching rapidly, we've been detected!

"Activate our auto-defence systems! Nothing can get through!!!"

Aboard the Royal Navy Cruiser Elizabeth II
"Our first catch of the day! Remove this little nuisence from my radar screen..."

Aye sir.


The European Cruiser charged headlong at the small JR ship. Utilizing a technology similar to its fleet destroying weapon, the "Anihililator Mk I", the Eraser II's automated defence array created short, focused, bursts of energy that could burn straight through any metal known to the Metaverse. But there was one problem...

Sir, we have tried to activate the array, but there's a problem.

"WHAT?!? Lieutenant you better be joking, I've got a Euro Cruiser barriling towards me and you tell me that we have a problem?!"

Um.. sir the um, ship says that they have been deactivated... permanently. Our R2 units repor....

"DEACTIVATED!!!! WE JUST GOT SERVICED, HOW COULD THEY... Oh my GOD! Lietenant get us out of here!! We have an imposter in Coruscant!!!!"

The small Eraser II activated its Light Speed Engines, but they too had been tampered with. The Euro Cruiser came into range and fired two volleys at the small ship. Depending on its advanced technology for defence, the Eraser II exploded in a huge fireball as the shots breached the thin protective skin.



Henry II, a small planet nearby sector 85,25 imploaded moments later. The Elizabeth II crew caught a glimpse of a small ship before they were vaporized.

"Admiral Mayito, we lost the Eraser II."

The Grand Admiral is standing on the bridge, wondering how it is possible that the Euro assault could be successful. The Comunications Officer turns from his console.

"Sir, we just recieved a report that one of the 'Eraser' ships has been destroyed."

"What!?! How is this possible? Where?"

"In the Alpha Quadrant; sector 85,25."

The lift door opens and an Engineering Officer runs on to the bridge.

"Sir, we have just discovered some bugs in our software. This ship is incapable of combat until we get an update to fix them!"

"More bad news. The war is not going well and now I find my ship is not combat capable. Get that update as quickly as you can! Set course for Coruscant."

In fact, we can only get two choices as to what we may do!

Perhaps we need to invoke the good graces of the megadeity at the temple of Carielf.....

My internet access was severed by my provider for not apparent reason, I have been trying to call them but not luck since Friday, just a good advise for those of you with dial-up DO NOT USE PEOPLEPC SERVICES, they stink, lack of customer service, lack of technical support, you must pay 1.95 per minute to receive tech support even if it is not your fault, so get someone else, PEOPLEPC.COM stinks badly. I need to get a new internet provider, but I am not sure where to go.
