Intercepted live broard cast from a hidden survailence camera aboard "The A.S.S" installed by some other groups Spy who worked on her at her last manditory Multiverse inspection.

ANZAC closed Debriefing:

A lot has happened in the last 2 days
With the active recruiting, espionage, sabotage, and Rescue branches

at least 3 (that i know of at this point in time) of our X-Compatriots who decided to try it alone in their budding empire FF, have been persuaded to join GROSS. Our Emporer has just returned from being M.I.A and looks the worse for ware.. However He is alright. {BlueSteel nods towards Worty} GROSS also attempted to gain the services of another of our Collegues "Slitherin" however they were able to return to us {BlueSteel notions towards Slitherin} glad to have you both back..

Our Anti GROSS Propaganda seems to have had a limited effect so far..

Our Ranking in the MetaVerse has jumped back up to 7th thanks to the Return of our mates and myself..
This isn't enough to play a major role in the Multiverse Federated Empire Council.. so we need more Influence out there in the Metaverse

Spread the word to recruit Overlords.. All we need are Overlords who are capable of posting a score at least once a month and then we'll be right back up there with the elite.

Our HQ is now this ship we are now sinning in . "The ANZAC Space Ship", "The A.S.S." {bluesteel looks around to see if there are any smirks from the ranks... of which he is please to see that there are none} . "The ASS (Donkey,Mule,JackASS} was fundimental at Galipolli in the rescue of injured our mates in arms from the front line.. so she is aptly named..

Remember the ANZACS.. "Lest we forget" , let them be an insperation to us all in our Galactic Adventures
We currently have spies in.......

{A siren sounds and you see a lot of ppl running around..} and then the camera jostles around and then you hear "Sir.. we've found something.." you see my hand groap for the camera.. and then you get nothing but static....

A big hello to everyone and a special welcome to our new recruit Stupot74! :)

I got real lucky to day and scored a completely different job location-wise so I'm officially back on deck, yiha! No 'puter internet at work unfortunately though so I won't be as vocal as usual, which is probably not a bad thing . . . hehe.

I wouldn't know :( I've yet to get even 1 of them .. LOL

in the middle of a gigantic normal game here now.. Fingers crossed.. I'm trying to see how much i can max it out to. I'm expecting about a 15k.. pitty it'll only increase the empires score by about 1/3rd or 1/2 of my score :(

We need more ANZACS to start submitting games again plz.. 2 or 3 players arn't enough to catch up.. As the more games we play in 30 day period the less it contributes to the empires score. and the Europeans havn't been submitting many recently so ALL their games are scoring maximum points for their empire. making it very difficult for us to catch them. We have them worried and playing again though, so lets not give up.. Lets show them the ANZAC spirit. Dig in.. Dig deep..

G'day all...

Thaks for all the welcomes, with a name like ANZAC how could I resist joining the empire!

I'm a new GC player....started with a couple of cakewalk and easy games to learn the ropes...now I'm on a 'proper' normal game, slowly grinding the Torians down in a huge galaxy. Seem to be doing it the hard way though :notsure: This game will be my first post to the metaverse!

Just wondering, why all the Aussie / Tolkien references around here? TBS games are a fairly niche market, sure, but I'm astounded at the Aussie representation here. I know if i mentioned Galciv to friends/colleagues I would get blank looks...

Have to say, as I'm a big Tolkien fan, Fellowship of the Ring was pretty tempting, but it just didn't seem right to sully Tolkein with space based TBS. And I couldn't ignore the patriotic urge to join up with the ANZACs ;)

Sorry about my nickname but Stupot is who I am, and I had to add the numbers as the name only was taken....I'm the only Stupot I know but there seem to be millions on the net!

Sully Tolkien!?!? Surely he wouldn't mind being associated with one of the most outstanding space TBS in recent history, Stupot. :)

Seriously, I got the idea of a LOTR based empire from the LOTR references in the game. You will notice planet names such as Sauron, Gandalf, Bilbo, Frodo, Gamgee, etc. Frogboy himself set up an empire called Arnor.

In fact, an old ANZAC used to say that the ANZAC empire is a LOTR empire due to the strong involvement of the Kiwis in its movie production.

As a poster to both Tolkien & Stategy newsgroups, I can imagine the crossposting flame wars that might happen, although I have to say I think it wouldbe the Tolkeinistas who would be offended!

ok ANZACs - after the 'ASSASSination' of a high level diplomat by the Euro's, it's war. no-one double ASS' an ANZAC and gets away with it. instructions are simple:
