Intercepted live broard cast from a hidden survailence camera aboard "The A.S.S" installed by some other groups Spy who worked on her at her last manditory Multiverse inspection.

ANZAC closed Debriefing:

A lot has happened in the last 2 days
With the active recruiting, espionage, sabotage, and Rescue branches

at least 3 (that i know of at this point in time) of our X-Compatriots who decided to try it alone in their budding empire FF, have been persuaded to join GROSS. Our Emporer has just returned from being M.I.A and looks the worse for ware.. However He is alright. {BlueSteel nods towards Worty} GROSS also attempted to gain the services of another of our Collegues "Slitherin" however they were able to return to us {BlueSteel notions towards Slitherin} glad to have you both back..

Our Anti GROSS Propaganda seems to have had a limited effect so far..

Our Ranking in the MetaVerse has jumped back up to 7th thanks to the Return of our mates and myself..
This isn't enough to play a major role in the Multiverse Federated Empire Council.. so we need more Influence out there in the Metaverse

Spread the word to recruit Overlords.. All we need are Overlords who are capable of posting a score at least once a month and then we'll be right back up there with the elite.

Our HQ is now this ship we are now sinning in . "The ANZAC Space Ship", "The A.S.S." {bluesteel looks around to see if there are any smirks from the ranks... of which he is please to see that there are none} . "The ASS (Donkey,Mule,JackASS} was fundimental at Galipolli in the rescue of injured our mates in arms from the front line.. so she is aptly named..

Remember the ANZACS.. "Lest we forget" , let them be an insperation to us all in our Galactic Adventures
We currently have spies in.......

{A siren sounds and you see a lot of ppl running around..} and then the camera jostles around and then you hear "Sir.. we've found something.." you see my hand groap for the camera.. and then you get nothing but static....

Cotal.. LOL.. I only had about 260... but yes it it is very long game. I always play to full tech and so that about 1/2 my planets are up to full pop. If i didn't let the games run for as long as i do they don't get me above the 10,000 mark. I've tried as you can see in my scores. So the longer your game keeps going the more you'll score (sure not as quickly but the score does still go up.)

I have no problem remembering which planets are doing what as I use the planets side bar (the one that comes up on the right... I'd definatly be lost with out that :)

Hi ANZAC'S, sorry that I have not posted a hello before. I was asleep and never noticed the ANZAC thread. Woke up rather abruptly when my ship bumped into an European Alliance ship that I was sneeking up on.

I do have a question ... what does ANZAC'S stand for ? Austrailia, New Zealand and COTAL's ? ;)

Yep, there does seem to be a purpose for us old timers in the Meta: to remind the newer people of an empire about what came before! It is amazing how time is amplified in the Galciv Forum. A month or two equals ancient history. Hey, Stardock folks, we need a better search engine!! :p

BlueSteel, I accidently forgot to add my favorite bonuses in a recent game (was wondering why social projects and research where taking so long . . . hehe), my score was a fair bit lower as a result . . .

That is so true isn't it! I remember a few weeks back (5 years Galciv time) and someone wrote that there had been no updates for a long while, and Frogboy had stopped posting etc. And FB immediately posted pointing out that the last update had been about 2-3 weeks before (if my memory serves me). Galciv has barely been out (5 months?) and already it feels ancient.

That is not my long term impression. In the short term, this is a big rallying cry that has inspired players both empires to up their activity levels a bit, but the Euros are going down in the end.

Why? Because Blue has some pretty nasty pruning shears out to cut what is perceived to be deadweight and is helping to mold the ones that are left into lean, mean Galciv playing machines. In other words, the leader is inspiring the troops. The Euros on the other hand have always had tenous command situations with constant in-fighting about political process that eventually lead to no leadership at all as the activity levels of the tired and dissatisfied political rivals plummeted. This does not mean the Euros are totally dead. They have players delivering the games still, just that they are now lone wolves. The wily ANZACs will attack as a pack with solid leadership, and as the pack gains experience it will become even more fierce.

I won't make any predictions of when ANZAC will be Canada bound, I'll just say the Euros are going to find a new home lower in the rankings unless they get a leadership revival or ANZAC suffers some unforseen catastrophy.

To Bluesteel & the "ANZAC'S"

How would you all feel about merging to form the "Anzac Republic" true to our past & our future.

As a small empire(Australian Republic) we can grow so far, but not as fast as other's can.

Please take the time to ponder this proposal.
