ANZAC's News From The A.S.S.

ANZAC's News From The A.S.S.

-------------
Intercepted live broard cast from a hidden survailence camera aboard "The A.S.S" installed by some other groups Spy who worked on her at her last manditory Multiverse inspection.
-------------
ANZAC closed Debriefing:

A lot has happened in the last 2 days
With the active recruiting, espionage, sabotage, and Rescue branches

at least 3 (that i know of at this point in time) of our X-Compatriots who decided to try it alone in their budding empire FF, have been persuaded to join GROSS. Our Emporer has just returned from being M.I.A and looks the worse for ware.. However He is alright. {BlueSteel nods towards Worty} GROSS also attempted to gain the services of another of our Collegues "Slitherin" however they were able to return to us {BlueSteel notions towards Slitherin} glad to have you both back..

Our Anti GROSS Propaganda seems to have had a limited effect so far..

Our Ranking in the MetaVerse has jumped back up to 7th thanks to the Return of our mates and myself..
This isn't enough to play a major role in the Multiverse Federated Empire Council.. so we need more Influence out there in the Metaverse

Spread the word to recruit Overlords.. All we need are Overlords who are capable of posting a score at least once a month and then we'll be right back up there with the elite.

Our HQ is now this ship we are now sinning in . "The ANZAC Space Ship", "The A.S.S." {bluesteel looks around to see if there are any smirks from the ranks... of which he is please to see that there are none} . "The ASS (Donkey,Mule,JackASS} was fundimental at Galipolli in the rescue of injured our mates in arms from the front line.. so she is aptly named..

Remember the ANZACS.. "Lest we forget" , let them be an insperation to us all in our Galactic Adventures
We currently have spies in.......

{A siren sounds and you see a lot of ppl running around..} and then the camera jostles around and then you hear "Sir.. we've found something.." you see my hand groap for the camera.. and then you get nothing but static....

One of the Sectoid prank-monkeys slapped the other one on the head.

"You see? I told you it was the other arm! You should have looked at a photo before the surgery, at least!"

The second Sectoid grabbed a hacksaw.

"Look, it's easy enough to fix. You worry too much. At this rate, you'll have an ulcer by the time you're thirty."

---

Blue_Steel stayed in the shadows as the Aussie diggers marched past. His contact should arrive in a few minutes, and hopefully this whole mess would get sorted out. The operation had fallen apart after he'd tried signing a declaration of war (on behalf of the ANZACs) against "Life, The Universe, And Everything", but realized he hadn't practised writing with his other arm.

The Sectoids stepped out of the shadows.

"Bout time you two showed up. Hey, how'd you get past the guards, anyway?"
"If anyone asks, I'm a wind-up toy."
"And I'm the one who winds him up." added the other one.
"Um, okay... so what's next on this operation?"
"Funny you should mention 'operation'..." replied the first one as he pulled out the hacksaw.

Blue_Steel realized what was going on.
"Oh, you're kidding. You are f***ing kidding me. Not again! You people are bloody incompetent! I'm gonna sue your arses, d'ya hear me?"
"Won't do you much good, we're not insured. Besides, you signed the indemnity waiver. Quit bitching."

One of the Sectoids pulled out a copy of "Foundation Handwriting" and tossed it to Blue_Steel.

"And make sure you do the exercises after the surgery this time, okay? Yeah, I know they're boring, but if you get done for your signature again, you'll be dead meat for sure."

Blue_Steel resigned himself to what lay ahead.

---

Poida and Dazza cracked another slab open. Guard duty was so boring. They'd heard stories that in other empires, guards couldn't drink on duty (not even a six-pack!), and they couldn't understand how anyone could work like that (the unions must have let them down). Suddenly, a regal-looking figure appeared in front of them.

"I am BlueSteel, your magnificent emperor! Stand aside!"

Poida looked at the fax he'd been sent that morning:

Check that any BlueSteel you meet has ONE (1) left arm, and ZERO (0) right arms. That's HIS left and right, not yours, people!

He looked up, down, up again, down again, counted on his fingers for a while, and then smiled.

"No worries, sir. Avagoodone!" said Poida, as Dazza chucked the emperor a roadie.

Blue_Steel sculled the can (with the guards cheering), waved goodbye with his upside-down, back-to-front arm, and walked on.

A small number of delegates sat around a circular table discussion the sensitive details of what would be the beginning of the third era of ANZAC. Posing as a waiter catering to the needs of the delegates, Gerakken was listening carefully to the precedings as he poured water and fetched drinks.

"...And I agree we call this union the ANZAC Republic!" as never-never finished on a gleeful note.

"Fine, but in addition to the republican form of government with a large senate, there will still be a strong emperor wielding broad executive, fiscal, and judicial power, and that will be ME!" Bluesteel boldly announced.

The Australian Republic's delegation let out a collective gasp. "Emperor is only a titular position with little power in our system! Our emperor only controls foreign policy. Once in a while we let the emperor out for a parade or to commissions a new ship, but you are talking madness! We will never again be subjugated by a totalitarian monarch!" shouted Rainbird.

The negotiations quickly turned into an unintelligable shouting match over the touchy issue. Gerakken decided it was best to sneak out of the negotiations as delegates started to pounce on one another in a full-fledged melee. The issue of imperial power may have been in dispute, but there was no dispute over representation in action, as the assembly was currently casting its ballots one punch at a time. After the final details were "hammered" out, they would surely all be buying rounds and trading war stories about their heroics in the brawl while showing off their cuts and bruises.

Just as the negotiations were going so smoothly.

That woman dressed in black with the spikey hair piped up with
" Would it be possible to use our Aussie flag as the emblem?"
Now I personally like that flag better than the ship - pass that woman with the spiky hair a beer! LOL
Reply #607 Top
Beer! Yuk! I appreciate the gesture and I guess it goes with spikey hair, but, Is there no Champagne.Ooops.
Sorry, we are not allowed to use that word.

Any Margaret River sparkling wine? ;)
Or. At a pinch, Barossa Valley sparkling wine. ;)

We do? Er...I dont think so, mate! It's your call, of course - I just think the Republic's flag is strikingly attractive; I always liked it (even better than the old ANZAC Southern Cross). Perhaps a third option - something new?

Thank you waiter.
She half turns, exposing the slit in her emerald green Chinese style dress and flashes Wild Wombat the closest thing she gets to a friendly smile.
