Our invisible leader has caused us losing two finest metaverse players plus countless possible recruits. I think it's time for us to think about what we should do.

Eventhough I got higher score, that don't mean I am better in command than you. What I mean is if you are planning to create an empire, tell me about specifics.

I think you guys probably should form your own empire and be in control of your own destiny rather than serve under an emporer that is retired. There are other secret organization names. How bout the Stonecutters from the simpsons? That would be pretty cool. LOL or make it what it became after they discovered Homer was the chosen one The no Homers Guild. HEHE. That would be cool.

Or you could just join G.R.O.S.S. instead.

Oh and one of you should change your name to Homer Because as I recall Homer made the point they had someone named Homer in the no Homers guild to which they responded. It's not the no Homer (singular)guild, it's the no Homers (plural) guild. I think either that or Stonecutters would be cool.

But I don't think The Illuminati would be good when there's already an Illuminati. If you were going to name it the illuminati, you may as well stay where you are and play up the absentee secret leader thing. Besides, you guys can do your own website and post links to it here anyway. And your emporer's site looked like an ego trip to me. Not much to do with Galciv at all.

Whilst I agree that calling the new Empire "The Illuminati" would be both confusing and uninspired, I would like to keep the Illuminati story I was planning to build on. The trick now would be to agree on a new name that we both like, that probably includes 'illuminati' in the name. We could even include this empire and Treylis absense in the storyline, explaining how we rebelled and formed a new illuminiti faction.

Let me suggest a few acronyms...
Kaos Illuminati Star Society (or Stella Society, or Secret Society) - KISS
Kabal of Illuminated Astronauts - KIA
Kaotic Illuminati Despots (or Dictators) - KID
Galactic Overlords Lodge Illuminati And Terran HQ - GOLIATH

Its so easy to come up with these names. Do you like any of them? Feel free to adapt them and make suggestions of your own. If you like an acronym but not one of the words in it, find a word you like starting with the same letter...

I wasn't talking about leadership. If as you suggest I am leader material despite my lowish score, then I would point out that a leader in such a position would depend on the support of a powerful warlord to make a go of things. Basically I was saying that if you were interested in forming a new empire, then so was I...

Actually I did have one idea that was not directly illuminati. It was an idea called the PanGaea Cooperative. It basically possits a future of the earth where rational athiests and some off shoot of the neo-pagan new age movement unites the world under the banner of PanGaea. In one sense PanGaea means All World. Scientifically it is a reference to the Gaea Hypothesis, only this time including the male as part of nature. Mystically it is the union of the god of nature, Pan, in union with the goddess of nature Gaea, to form a hermaphrodite deity Pangaea. I believe it is also the name of the first contenent, in the time of the dinosaurs...

I'm originated from South Korea, currently live in Washington State US. I own a gasoline station for living(bit bussy all the time). I plan to go back to school for computer programing. As my nick name states I was born in 1974. It's kind of late for me to go back to school but I just can't get rid of my dream regardless of what I do for living. I want to try for the last time.

I have played many different kind of games before, I have owned dozens of clans and joined dozens of clans before. Clans usually go out of action when leader don't play the game anymore or clan ranking don't goes up anymore. I have waited for a month, but Treylis isn't playing anymore. A clan with out a leader is a kingdom without a king.

Before I joined Illuminati, I thought of joining Jedi Republic. I might defect to Jedi Repubic or go back to clanless citizen, I haven't decieded my mind yet.

Well, from my perspective, emperorless empires lose relavence in the end. There is a need for a sense of purpose and direction. Unless a few strong members can compensate for that lack of direction, the empire may as well be lost as it will slowly slip down the slope of the Meta. Now, if your MIA leader could remain "hidden" while still showing signs of direction (by posting games often, changing empire motto once in a great while, or some other unmistakable sign of emperor intervention without posting) I would consider that very Illuminatish. But currently we have all the signs of someone who is totally ignoring the cause or is in it all for himself without regards for the others who have signed up.

Beserk, it is interesting what you say. I too was born in 1974, although in the UK. I have never been to South Korea or the USA, but I did study Tae Kwon Do up to first dan level, which is a South Korean martial art. For a living I work as computer programmer.

This is the first time I've ever been involved with a 'clan' or empire of any kind in any game. I only joined it because I'm fascinated with secret society type stuff and thought I was likely to find others with similar interest hanging around in a group with this name.

If you go to the Jedi's I propably won't follow you, but I'm unlikely to stay here either. Maybe I'll just go ahead and form my own empire anyway...

Well, you're doing okay without an empire, being in the top 25 players and all! In fact, if you formed a one player empire, that empire would be ranked 17...

We did a poll quite a while back and the average age is 29. Frog said recently that based on his data, the average age is 31.

I guess TBS games do appeal more to the matured crowd who enjoys thinking, strategic games. I personally don't enjoy RTS and FPS games.

I agree, I'm not really a fan of RTS or FPS either. I don't mind RT in an rpg, so long as combat is done TB, or you have the option of going TB for combat. But in a stategy game I find rt frustrating because I'm trying to coordinate my forces on various different ends of the map, and respond to situations occuring all over and I have the forces but your cursor can only be one place at a time real time...

Just had my birthday, August 29, so I'm 29 now, seems like I must be the average age...
