How many times I have to tell you to not use your powers to get into fist fight with the SF, do I have to put you again in the corner? Go to your room and write 100 times, I cannot use the powers of The Light to destroy the tires of the SF shuttles.!!!

Shemesh drops his head and walks slowly into his tower, Master Theoden locks the door and leaves the castle. Shemesh pulls the books of Magic Spells and How to destroy shuttles for dummies from under his pillow and thinks, hmmmmmmmmmmm what did I do wrong??

Greldon, your backstory is perfect! I added it to the Roster page. I also classed you as a Warrior, but if you would prefer something else (such as Paladin due to your Pure Good status or Ranger to go along with your FotRCTF status) just let me know!

Terl, your turn to submit a backstory! I'd write something up for you, but I don't know if you want to add something about your Psychlo past and since I don't know anything about that I couldn't do it justice.

I was really busy last night and didn't get to play that Gig/Maso I'm working on. Hopefully I'll get some time tonight!

Terl started his career as a security chief for Intergalactic Mining and stationed on Earth. He made very poor decisions, while stationed on Earth, due to his greed and lust for power. His schemes in using mankind to further his ambitions having failed, Terl sold Earth to an intergalactic bank, and blasted away from the the planet to save himself. In his haste the ship was not prepared for teleportation and Terl drifted aimlessly in space.

The Valar had noticed Terl, though Terl knew nothing of them, and decided he would be useful despite his past misdeeds. They rescued Terl and set him on Arda. The Valar used their great powers to change Terl both inside and out, for he now felt the call to champion for good and no longer needed his breathe-gas mask. The Valar guided Terl to Middle Earth, to a small tavern where they knew Terl would meet fellow warriors and continue his new found quest for good.

Note: Terl would probably be best classed as a warrior though his prior security training would be helpful also as a member of the FoTRCTF

Shalom opens the door of the tower where he has been studied the Scrolls of Wisdom, Dreams and Revelations. His heart is tired with the load of so many roads and so many searches behind him. With a soft voice he starts to sing a very peaceful song entrusted to him by The Light "The world is behind, home is ahead..." He stopped for a second to meditate on the meaning of the song and suddenly an electric bolt of energy hit him in the chest throwing his old body to the ground. The Light has opened a small window into The Truth, letting him enjoy just a glimpse of the Celestial City where he will be coming very soon.

With tears in his eyes Shalom kneels before The Light and exclaimed how fool I have been, all the time, right there in front of my eyes. Oh, my LORD forgive my sins, I am ready to go to live with you in The Celestial City.

All the hobbits around Shalom Shemesh raise their voices in the same solemn song: "The world is behind me, home is ahead..."

The path towards the Celestial City is still a long one, but once you have seen its walls, its image will live with you forever.

Lets sing my dear hobbits, come and join us Frodo, it is time to rejoice. I am on my way home and this is the path, there is no more detours, there is no more spiritual walks to find enlightment, now I Know where I am going, my path is clear, His yoke its easy and His burden is light. All my cares and travails are lifted from my old shoulders.

Come and lets rejoice, lets sing and dance dear Frodo we are going home.

Shalom: I just got a chance to read over the Special Forces thread. I appreciate your feelings regarding the pentagram and your faith, however, getting into a flame war with them was not an appropriate response. I don't think SpecFor intentionally would try to hurt anyone's feelings and their choice of logo was not meant in malice. Thank you for apologizing to them and hopefully they will accept it and we can move on. I consider everyone over in SpecFor a friend and hope they will remain amicable with all of us, including you.

So, let's just try to move on and enjoy the game and the friendships we have here.

That is what I am trying to do, you will not see me posting anything else related to the past issues, even do there are still people flaming me, I am past that point, if they want to waste their time in the blaming, flaming thing, is their own bussiness, I am tired of that and I had enough of that. I just put it behind and now I am concentrating in teaching Frodo how to sing, he is a tough one to convince to open his ears. LOL

Agreed. This forum is by far the best I have been associated with. The creativity and enjoyment abounds in the various empire threads and truly adds to the entire GalCiv experience.

Things were all quieting down at the FoTRCTF substation in Bag End after yesterday's flurry of activity. It was back to coffee and donuts for the officers today. Thank Manwe, they built the new Bag End Krispy Kreme!
