We need your help!

Stardock are looking to add new medals to the metaverse ranking!

How you can help

We need for you to come up with some new names and graphics for these medals. Please decide on the name for the medal  and a new graphic, and submit it to me along with a 20x20 gif image of the chosen medal. Please keep in mind that these medals will be for the entire metaverse.

Please submit your idea and gif image to [email protected]

Images of the medals and their names will be available for viewing at the following address http://files.galciv.org/medals.html

Once a reasonable amount of submissions have been made, then the team at Stardock will choose the ones to add to the metaverse.

Please spread the word about this to all the members of your empires.

Good thought. i will look into that possibility, but for the time being i doubt it. maybe in the future though.

My appologies for not posting an update on the medals for a while, this is due to me having to re-load windows and all programs after my main pc's hard drive decided to go and corrupt itself. So having to run everything off of the old pc. I have loaded all graphics onto old one and will update soon.

Sirian, please feel free to post any ideas for new medals here. People like Seeker Master have already submitted new medals with no names. so if you like the look of one of them for your idea then just shout. :)

To all of you who have submitted new medals and new ideas for future medals, i would like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks for all of your hard work. It is encouraging to know that there are people like yourselves out there who will rally round and help get an idea off of the ground.

Spellforce can we use some of the medals I sent without a definition to give them to Empires, maybe top 25 empires receive one kind, top 3 receive another, top 100 empires, the oldest empire the newest empire, etc?

Sounds ok to me. will choose medal at random to appoint to top 25 etc unless you have any ones you would like.

How about medals for Senators and Emperors? I am graphically challenged (as you can tell by the Aldarian logo), so I'm probably not the best person to make up the jpg.

I want to thank everyone who submitted ideas for new medals.  They were all great!  We already new we had great fans and you just keep proving it over and over!

I have already implemented some new medals.  Just glance at the Metaverse Lengend to see which new medals have been added.  Over time we will gradually add more of your medals.

You will probably notice that you qualify for a medal but it is not showing yet.  I have not recalculated all the data in order to find out who gets what yet.  As time goes on or if you submit a new score the new medals will being to show up.
