I tried playing and everything worked fine at first. However, I cannot load a saved game, because I always get a CTD just as the progress bar reaches 100%. This has happened both loading from in-game and loading from the initial menu. I can send the save if needed. I had 1.13, then installed the first beta, then installed the second beta, if it makes any difference.

Carielf a quick question the link you provided for the clean ship data is only for AP or I can use it for 1.13 also?

Is the save game from the first or second beta? Save games from the first beta may not load correctly.  If it's from the second beta, had you destroyed any stars or used rallypoints? If not, then I want the game.

Shalom Shemesh: It's for AP only.  Make sure that you put it in your AP data folder, and not the galciv\data folder, or you will have one seriously messed up game.  :)  Or two, depending on how you count it. :)  Anyway, I think that I gave you links earlier for 1.13.

My game was in the second beta. I have not destroyed any stars. I have placed some rally points, but haven't directed any ships to them. I played a previous game and did not use any rallypoints and had the same problem. Unfortunately, I did not save that game. But I could start another and replicate it, I think. I tried to email my savegame but the message bounced because my email was unknown ([email protected]).

A couple other bug reports:

It appears that either the freighters or some other ships are showing the blue circle on a destination star. I haven't seen this before. I have a couple of destination circles on my homeworld, but I don't have any ships destined there, and there are no destination lines showing on the minimap.

Also, like others have reported, starbases are showing as crosses on the minimap even before I have explored that sector. This did not happen in previous versions.

In the diplo screen, I started a bc slider proposal, but then exited the diplo screen without closing the bc slider popup. The popup remained on the screen with the diplo screen closed. I haven't had this happen in previous versions (the popup has always closed with the diplo screen).

It definately does happen in 1.13 with the Attack and Make Peace popups.

My spies stole a tech today! :CONGRAT:

I've never seen that before, is it new? I about fell out of my chair when I saw it LOL

Is there a seperate thread for the map/scenario/campaign editors? I'm gonna mess around with those next, and see how far I can go. :d

I think auto-survey is fine, and I'm a nerfherder. :notsure: There are 2 more Survey ships running around, and they're starting closer to me. Doh!

I had a Terror Star lose its movement ability for awhile. It got better. :SURPRISED:
I goofed around with it after that, but it kept working. I think it must have been rebel spies...
Well, it could've been the UP law forbidding Terror Stars, but the TS continued on course after that until I told it to go somewhere else. Next time I'll keep a save.
