By the way, I have a problem with oil period. Them posting profits and being mad at it is like saying to the Saudi goverment stop selling oil at market prcies because its not nice. There has been technology around for decades that would allow us to use vegetable oil for cars and trucks (using deisel engines) but we don't use it because of the cost of infastructure to re-biuld or re-furbish the gas stations and transportation line

I don't have a problem with it. They sell oil and we buy it. Its simple. I do realize that many of us don't have a choice in the matter because riding a bike to work is not an option or heating their houses with wood sticks might cause problems. Here is the situation... capitalizm. That should explain it fo ya.
sending mail to their personal homes is not a good idea. it is the business entity that you wish to speak to As a person who is currently fighting their ex-employee about very specific items that include putting peoples lives at risk and firing me, I have to say all mail has gone to the business offices where the people I want to contact are. Considering I am the person in the case, I could be evil and send it to their h
I voted for him last term considering that he was the better man for the job (even with all of the crap he does and the stuff I don't at all agree with, he still is the better man for the job... which doesn't say much), but I never really liked him. Now even republicans are getting the brunt of his interesting... ways of working. Welcome to my world.

In one ruling, they disenfranchised 200+ million people in the United States. ummm no. I have yet to see where most people in the US don't want abortion. Please show me the place where you found this statistic. Over ruling it would open the flood gates, but I still think ther

I know many people her don't believe in the big brother thing coming. I don't personally go for all the hype, but I do believe that you will feel the pressure to not say or do things that could get us in some sort of trouble... like sayinganti-Bush (or whoever is the president in the future) statements and then being watche or taken in for questioning. Here is the quote from the article: September 30, 2005 5:09 PM PDT Y
Wait... you have a drop of black blood in you??? Your officially black!!! Welcome to the brotherhood!!! You get free passes through the worst nieghborhoods (unless you wear the wrong colors or just have too much cash on you without a gun), say the "N" word, wear baggy pants down to your knees (literally), and you can apply for a injection to 'naturally' understand rap. WELCOME MY BROTHER, WELCOME!!!!! lol You also ge
Damn white people...
Outside yhe US? No it would seem.
Flat taxes won't work. I am not an economics major, but after only a few classes, I see why there is such a debate over tax rates, but anybody who know most of the theories would know that a flat tax rate has many issues. Economics isn't just math, its how humans interact with their money. So just saying do this and its fair doesn't quite work. I think everyone here knows if someone is making a million a year can afford more take
I, for one, do not like the terrorism act. The US Patriot Act seems less intruding than England version. I know I can be arrested for any reason at any time, like for example searching on Google and my library record taken to use against me. For the sake of safety, i can be held for days, months or years and my family will not know. I don't
I made a post about this basically calling Nagin a dumbass. Against obvious intellegence, he wanted people to come back to NO even as drinking water and even washing would have been dangerous. Let alone the people who could get hurt by debree still laying around and the lack of hostpilas open to take care of anyone who could get hurt fixing there homes back up. AND its still hurricane season!!! Don't you want to fix those levees first
A( has been working on this for a while. Now they have street views of areas so you can see just waht is there at eye level on a map. Not exactly etter than Google, but you have to admit, if you REALLY want to see the shop your going to, after using Google, you should take a look on A9 to see if an image at eye level is there. Here is a list of some places: * New York, NY * Los Angeles, CA * Dallas, TX<
Google's "do no evil" works just as long as they do no evil. I lke Google. I really do. Nevertheless, I don't use Google email for nothing more than job search. Someone could say that using it for that reason could be enough for Google to know about me, what I earn and where I live... and signing up for Google Search probably would also garner more info on me that can be used by the gorverment to lock me up because I search for '
God be with you.
I just downloaded Google Earth but haven't installed it yet. I haven't installed Picasa yet either nor Google OTHER IM service Hello. From what I read, the intergration between the apps and Blogger is supercalafragulistic (spell?). I think Yahoo is the real compeditor to Google. MSN is playing catch up for real. What I am wondering is when Google will step up to the plate with search clustering, job search, d
#9 and #2 are the best in my honest and business savvy opinion.
Bakerstreet, I think she is refering more to the ideals and commercialism than whether the money spend helps the poor or not. She also seems to be talking about the near wealthy, not the ones who earn 400,000+ a year. (I do see you point about the wealthy spending and through this spending allows people to work, but more comes from 'normal' consumers than the wealthy, otherwise we wouldn't keep talking about consumer confidence all the time. The we
I read a link on Digg.com that Microsoft was trying to get them, but they could talk about it for obviuos reasons you know... legal junk). I think Yahoo probably assumed MS would do something like that, especially since they have done so in the past. I still think DX is the best, but the best don't always get the awards.
I just found ANOTHER Google mash-up for hurricane tracking. And I found another site using Google maps and AJAX for job hunting. What is next, a Google OS?
WTF???? Is this guy on crack or something? Now he wants people in NO and according to this acticle , there are only 4 hosptials half open. What if another storm hits? What's the plan with half broken levees? I know, use the buses that were flooded out in a parking lot. I am sure they are dry now. What about water testing? I guess everybody who goes
