i have now ended up with a headache, from banging my head against various figurative brick walls. /me doesnt like computer programs that misbehave so, in order to ease this problem, once my plans for intergalactic domination are complete, i am going to ban all electrons in walls. this way when i bang my head on them in future it wont hurt

how are you using your computer? if you are using it seperately, then you could simply set up a dual boot. reboot to winXP when you want to use it, and boot back to winME when hubby wants to use any hardware that isnt being detected by XP. i do this for games compatibity and a place for testing. simple to set up, and works a treat. just remember that winME cannot read NTFS partitions, so if you format the winXP partition like that you will only be able to do

LoidiBoid - The reason is that I'm never able to sleep with any of you... er /me is glad to here this sleeping all over everyones beds is the sort of thing that cats are for. therefore, it should be my job to be sleeping with everyone. i think it would be best to start with humans who understand how to do a proper tummy run on cats

TheGreenReaper wonders if there are any of the chocolate mint dragons left. the upper levels of the sky are full of them if you are nice to one of the great dragons, they may well take you hunting with them. just remember to connect yourself tightly to the flight harness, the dragons think upsidedown is a good orientation for diving at mint dragons <img src="http://images.stardock.com/im

Elfkura - Urgh, I'm going insane. I haven't talked to any human being the past few days...... there is me! ah, i think i see you point however, insanity isnt as bad as people make it sound. at least you can have yourself for company, and you are always there to hug and cuddle yourself. Elfkura - I haven't been outside for more than 5 minutes the past few days...... isnt th

Elf, the male mind isnt as complex as you might think as for whats on his mind, the two most likely candidates (for an average male) are sex and food it really does sound like you two need to have a proper long and involved talk with him. as a general rule (so this may not apply directly) men

LoidiBoid - The gals seem to have kept it alive with fewer and fewer chaps participating perhaps it is true, men lack staying power /me wonders who will post the 500th message so, you spent all this time off sunning yourself then? and what about us? you could have at least uploaded some s

Elfkura - This thread's dead, I suppose. /me picks up dead thread and carries it around /me finds that thread wiggles when ticked /me wonders who to present this gift to the only dead thing is my net connection Elf. i would have been back sooner, but wasnt able. /me hugs Elf you remind me of a (to me) terribly sad observation once made by Leneir (no idea on the spelling) in Babylon5, "true love is always unrequited" i think that was the word used. h

you mean there are even *more* of these icons to come? /me PURRRRRRRRRR what would be nice is an icon for "recent programs". i have placed this XP start menu block on a popout menu using object bar as for file types: .rm (real player) what about icons for other object desktop file types?

Glen Eric Reed - I'm beginning to feel a bit outnumbered on this thread. Am I the only guy willing to defend guys? you feel outnumbered? Elf oscilates from one gender to another depending on the situation. my species and mental gender are still under debate in certain quarters. in which sence are you feeling outnumbered? i could argue that i am outnumbered here s

now now JavaBrain! married lady does *not* imply interesting lady as far as i am concerned. i like things like an interesting and inventive mind, a sence of humor, and isnt to worried by my perpsective on life. basically i like people i can have interesting conversations with. this list doesnt contain the work female anywhere in it. it has just been my experience that this is far easier to find in a female than a male. further, all such females that

JavaBrain - Where is that cake that Feline made for Elf? That sounds good (especially with a cup of coffee). go though the blue swirly portal to the chocolate plannet, and it is on the right. quite obvious there is also a coffee lake on one side, so you can go tobonging down the side of the cake when you want a drink <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0

Glen, you need to consider the irony of the current situation. here you are, getting on quite well with several females all at once. and there are only 2 minor issues. a) they are probably living on a different planet b) they are all happily settled with significant others. if you dont see the humor in the situation it will drive you mad /me wants to know if all interesting women are born 'married'

interesting. /me on *lots* of chocolate i seen to need lots of space in some places. the Diablo II game ended up with about a 2.5 gig install on my machine. for things like this, plus my music files, big partitions can be useful. i still like partitions to seperate out my OS's from my data though.

Doreen - Human males are for killing spiders & cuddling w/ when they are not killing spiders... /me *impressed* most human males dont seem very keen on cuddling. /me *confused* cuddling is nice and cumforting anyway, back to the plot. Doreen, if you dont mind me asking, what is your secret? and does it work on females as well?

Doreen wonders just what would be a more better environment for feline to meet and mingle? a pet store? hehe /me thinks wincustomize has worked quite well so far isnt a pet store one of those places that sells colars, chains, and sweeties all in one place? /me has heard rumors about this sort of place

Elfkura - School is hard, teachers can't seem to even things out very well =/ /me sympathises i know the feeling well. however, if you can learn to master this, it will be an invaluable skill later on in life. none of the managers where i work can even things out at all either

Glen Eric Reed - Most of us males worthy of being called males are good for pretty much everything females are good for (short of the obvious things like giving birth). The breadth of our capabilities would probably surprise most women. Of course, capability and action are two different things.... ahha! /me spots the cunning let out clause i suspect then most of the "men" i have encountered over the years wouldnt qualify as "worthy males" <img src="http://images.stardock.c
