Elfkura - long thread... Elfkura - I'll come back later =P /me wonders where the spare bungy cord is i think Elf should be attached to some bungy cord. the other end can be attached to the chocolate plannet portal. that should stop her disapering for such long periods

/me waves 'white flag' of an innocent user mephisto corugant - simple, because they don't deviate far from the standard windows control layout. sure, there are exceptions, like spirit for instance (which i really like even though it is hard to use at times with most colors being the same shade) and the floating fish in aquarium, but aside from that, there's not really much free form skinning going on with xp, or really anything that's come out in the past few months. speaking a

Glen Eric Reed - Actually, I'd prefer the "atmore," if you've got it. (Sorry.) an entire pleasure planet made out of chocolate, and you are still not happy? some people Glen Eric Reed - All you need to lure quality humans is chocolate and coffee? Man, if life were really only that simple... but, that's why there are message boards. /me is deeply cunning the trick lies in ge

Mr AJCrowley - In your line of work JavaBrain, knowing that your peers frequent this board, that was probably not a good thing to say /me *snigger* i dont know JavaBrain well enough to be certain, but i doubt she has much to fear from her colleges. a while ago a lady was working in the same room as all the (male) programmers at work. so 5 males v 1 female in the converstation. since these arent the worlds most sophisticated minds, the conversation is normally in

Jafo - To be a 'God' is one thing... To be a 'Godess' is something else entirely... well, according to dictionary.com these seem to mean the same. of course, i did use "goddess" as the second word /me feels all light headed and unsteady quite a surreal feeling, me correcting Jafo's spelling

JavaBrain - Feline! Where are you! /me *hates* who ever decided to make this internet connection out of bits of swamp mist it seems BT is no good at managing net connections. sort of leaves me wondering what they are good at still, nice to feel wanted

Elfkura - If you want, ask UHRBid somewhere on the msgboard.... he'll probably tell you what I do when I'm loaded on caffeine .. /me grapples with image of Elf with spiky fur and glowing eyes /me thinks Elf dosed on sugar sounds fun

Glen Eric Reed - And how did the coffee discussion move to this thread, anyway? /me hands glen a copy of the atless this is the chocolate planet map. most of the large sea shaped things are full of coffee. its the easiest way of luring quality humans here the ones the chocolate doesnt get, the coffee does. /me has a soft spot for coffee gatoe any cake that is

so far rc4 seems ok on this win98 machine. one of the earlier builds took out all the menus, but that is the only significant problem i have had so far. as for flattening people, the solution is simple. you sleep on top of husband (where its safe), and cats get to sleep where ever they want to

cats sit on chairs cats sit on humans as far as cats are concerned humans and chairs are basically the same thing i once read that you can prove anything with logic by just picking the right start point

Eng Hun Gan, are you actually ending up with two (or more) excel items on the OB taskbar? if so, then are you using automatic, manual, or no grouping with OB? Bill Sawyer - Excel groups within itself so it should only show one instance on the task bar whether you are using Object Bar or not. i have been known to run multiple instances of Excel before now, and that will give you multiple taskbar entries <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif"

but my logic is watertight Elfkura - We -have- all the crazy people! =D so, most people here are crazy. since they are all crazy, they all have "crazy" in common. since i am not really the same as the rest of you, and you are all crazy, i cannot be crazy! /me *tada*

Jafo - And a client is always right...... this reminds me of a dilbert cartoon i keep on my desk at work: Management training by Dogbert: there are two essential rules to management. one: the customer is always right *shocked expressions all round* two: they must be punished for their arrogance

starone - I'll try to keep him busy solving the menu thing. i am still waiting on pearls of wisdom from you on this one at the moment starone - But he distracts easy now that is hardly fair! i do have a low bordom threshold (about 1 picosecond) but that doesnt mean that i am giving up on things. i am quite capable of multitasking. after all doing 16 things at once is a stand
