rc2 looking very good here on win98! WB 3.2 is a bit more prone to graphics corruption on windows than 2.21b was, but it is hardly a new thing. /me thinks using a piece of moldy cheese for a graphics card is probably the real cause /me wonders if i can get the remaining issues addressed<br

starone - unless you have me working on graphics anyway i wouldnt do that anyway, appart from the obvious practical problems of describing graphics without waving paws (hard as we have aleady found on this message board ), i am deeply against exploiting child labour.

oh, i also had a problem unloading WB rc. however, since this machine can be flakey, i just ignored that, since i didnt see any reason to blame WB. perhaps it really was WB being strange

well, my work win98 machine (where i am now) really doesnt like WB 3.2rc1 i had to uninstall and roll back to WB 3.19b within 5 minutes the problem i had was that using the Bleu skin, ALL menus i tried were blank. the menu's were skinned, but there were no words or highlight bar, making then un-usable. this happened on OB 1.00 (its out!!!), OE 1.49i and right clicking my desktop.

right, having managed to just about recover from works latest attempt to squash me, it is time to return to this! first the good news. i have managed to get a working smart bars skin on this machine, which will help a lot in tracking down things (i hope). i would like you to add the following block to the top of your origional XPCopper.uis file. this way we are using the same (fairly basic) skin with the same modifications. helps to reduce the variables. also this is a win9

theoretically you can do smartbuttons in skinstudio, but i hit skinstudio smart buttons and bounced, hard in a little while i am planning on posting a snippit of UIS 'code' that will add a smart button to a skin. this should show up in the "help with object bar 2" thread. if you have followed this thread pair, then you would understand why <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.
