Does the advanced properties make permanent changes one would wonder. Or is there another program that over steps that when you reboot. Reformatting is good for spring cleaning but it does set everything back to default settings. Icon packager, windowblinds, other desktop software. You have to start back at the beginning and reset everything. You should expect to loose all your settings when you reformat. Doesn't it tell you that?

The more programs has a specific purpose when someone adds a single pic to the Start Menu. The purpose of the MP area is to add sauce to the goose. I wish they would add a vertical start button to WB skinning. The horizontal and vertical taskbar doesn't work well with many start buttons. Who uses a vertical taskbar, Anyhooo?

This may seem obvious but tile is similar to repeat as IRS is similar to terrorists. If you want a big picture, make a pic that has one tile that can be stretched and set the margin for the height and width of the picture and use that one tile to adjust for the various menu sizes In other words, stretch the heck out of that one tile as ppl on social security do to survive.

One way to get an average start menu size is to open the start menu and make a screen capture image of it. Cut that up for the parts. Putting a large image in the start menu is hard because ppl's start menu are different sizes with large and small icons and the number of programs in the list varies, etc. Find a stretchy image.

Windows use to keep walls in the windows folder for them to be displayed in the Display Properties dialog. I think they are kept in My Pictures now. At least that is where I see the list is located.

I have experienced that kind of problem when using FrontPage. I have to click all over the place to get the view to show. What I do is whenever I am using FP is unload windowblinds. Technology is not perfect especially dealing with so many different variables. What works for one person might not work for another because of equipment.

Wallpapers can be changed in the Display properties. I right click a wall and choose, set as background.

you can remove the pic by changing the way you log on to windows. Uncheck the box that says to use the welcome screen in Users Accounts and the pic will be gone. You can remove your name by.... Start > Run > Gpedit.Msc > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu And Taskbar > Find Remove User Name From Start Menu > Right Click Properties > Check Enabled > Ok

There should be a section to list skins with smart buttons. They are nice because a user can configure them very easily in the wb thing. I have added smart buttons to all my skins. [subliminal hint]

Someone may correct this because it may or may not be accurate [StartPanel.MenuItem] ContentBottom= ContentLeft= ContentRight= ContentTop= That section is hard to adjust because of the various file lengths. If you notice many featured skins have those margins all wrong. Also I don't think the programs list is truncated so you might have to rename the shortcuts for length purpose

I honestly never noticed anywhere to upload permission text. I would say, log in, and upload the skin. I have had skins rejected here when they were not in the proper zip format and preview images that were not in the proper format.

What is the purpose of the end of a story but to give you justification for time spent. If a story misses that mark then your left scratching your head wishing time was spent better. However if a show is watched without the expectation of a dramatic ending then the time is well invested. However, promotions were rampant as to the final climax of that show so the expectations was set. I think MikeB314 was right on the mark when commenting that future investments

I have never noticed a slowdown when running windowblinds and I run a 433mhz processor and have used WB on Win98 and now with the same processor on XP. Me tinks it might be time for someone to do some maintenance on their PC

Don't you just hate when that happens. This sounds like the cold case file of who broke my middle thing. Was windowblinds removed using the add/remove in the control panel or was it just Transylvania the skin that was removed. Seems it would be hard for windowblinds to break explorer since explorer has protective shielding to prevent attacks from alien powers.
