Reading from the top there is a comment/question and then instead of an answer a comment on a name change. This exact thing happened to me in another thread and in that thread I understood what was meant. Perhaps this time it was not the same.

I used the skin BorgXP as a learning tool when I tried to add wbamp. Mercury did point out to me that sometimes you have to add the code to the uis file using notepad. The wbamp plugin is not one of those times but it is a good idea to get familiar with the code outside of using SkinStudio.

Hi! When windows starts there appears a dialog saying treeview alpha has expired and to visit Stardock Been all over Stardock and can't find anything dealing with treeview. Does anyone have the directions?

There is a setting in the internet options which will give you a warning if anyone wants to store a cookie. It will block all cookies until you say it is ok. Nice feature but many many dialog boxes appear.

I singled out that particular skin because it was a first time creation and the author commented there are mistakes so I was not pointing out anything new. On the other end of the spectrum here is a skin rated 9 and really should be a 10 https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=carbon+fibre&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1 Skins should be used for a time before any rating is done. Windowblinds ran great when I was using 98. I always thought WindowsXP was made for Windowblinds. I still can't figure if the bg of this page is green or black Is there a place I can test the color setting I have. I tried using the photoshop thing but my eyes went crosseyed looking at the squares.

G Day KeepOn I thought the background of this page was black but might be green. If you are refering to a Windowblinds skin menu they can be changed using SkinStudio. Controls, menu, menu item, font, colors. The menu buttons are changed in the personality Also in Colors, menu things and selections pertain to menu colors. Skin Studio has colors spread all over the place so happy hunting.

If you remove the welcome screen the picture on the start menu will not be there. Control Panel > User Account > Change the way you log on > Uncheck Use welcome screen. To remove the name ... Start > Run > Gpedit.Msc > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu And Taskbar > Find Remove User Name From Start Menu > Right Click Properties > Check Enabled > Ok

Anyone that does a Windowblinds theme knows it takes weeks to complete. Hours spent with the anticipation that the time spent will be appreciated. However, it seems that the ratings have the effect of a moth being drawn to a light. Some authors get a high rating with not so good skins just because they have a name and everyone is drawn to those skins. Honesty and fairness are essential and those qualities are fading away from the rating system. I did find out that
