First of all the interface for this forum is awful; why not use the Invision package ? because stardock prefers to use asp and not php, i honestly like this. Besides, since they designed it, its alot easier for them to change things and make the look of the forums fit the site, (not a great reson, bu

it might be possible depending on how good of an ibook you got (i mean alot of RAM and HD space), you could get a piece of emulation software (VirtualPC for MAC) and a copy of windows (not even up to date windows, 98 will take up less space and resources) and then run GC2 inside the windows emulation. Just thinking outloud, but i dont know about the quality of your notebook or how it will look.

on my laptop, it wouldnt crash, but the GPU (when sighted with a laser thermometer) was extremley hot, what my laptop did was start having the screen jumping, so like on minute my starbase is there and the next frame, the pirate ate it.

its not about a soulution on how to handle it, it is about a problem that needs to be fixed. I use the description to tag them but any time i do an upgrade, it is another thing on the list, and if i do alot of upgrades, it gets very cluttered

As far as your statement c goes, the game leaving copies of your ships behind: If you don't change the name of the ship it will overwrite the old one instead of copying it to a new one. Think of it like a file, when you rename the ship you are doing a "save as" and making a new copy of the file. cor

i want to say its not possible. If the class is the number of available building tiles, then every single tile would have to be elligable to build on. so it is possible, just not probable. (yes, im taking courses in advanced probability)

A. When you load a saved game, and you were having a positive flow of bc and not losing it, when you first load, it will show your amount of bc in yellow (meaning that you are losing money), you go to the domestic policy screen and double check to make sure your having positive flow of money, you see that you are actually earning money, the only way you cna get the indicator to acknowledge it is if you change one of the values on how you spend money (m

I find it easier to board one of those mini freighters and you take the BC the route was worth for that turn. I can see a takeover that turns a damaged ship into a remote controlled bomb and have it ram an enemy ship. Nah, if anyone should do that, it should be the pirates.........

interesting, another take on the same topic. But look at it from this point of view. You would have no ideas on how to manufacture it. Just what it looks like in the end. could be a risk of doing that would be to build a prototype ship with that tech, but it explodes because of one of those steps that was taken during manufacturing. Perhaps a random algorithm to determine wheather the ship gives up a tech or not, which would open a screen asking if you

here's an idea One man could board the other ship and walk around all over the ship shooting alien monsters with various weapons that he would have available. He could find goodies along the way like health paks and stims. Thank You for the input, i expected to have many posts like this by now. Apparently i was wrong since there is o
