GalCivII Ultimate Several Race Problems in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, I recently bought GalCivII-Ultimate Edition und updated it via Impulse to version 2.02. I'm running it without mods. Unfortunately I have several race-issues: When I tried to run a Metaverse-game I was told that my custom race had an invalid race setting (maxed-out diplomacy). When i changed the setting (from super-diplomat to super-trader), i could play as normal, but when i kept exactly that config for the next game it was all of a sudden invalid, too. <p

Try to get your Diplomacy-Bonus as high as possible, buy Missiles once you have Dreadnought technology to stop those Aliens from getting funny ideas... If Diplomacy and Military Might is high enough, the AI will leave you in peace most of the time. And... ...don't make allies... that will get you into war soon... If you have purchased the Gold Edition there are some numbers and letters printed wrong on the package, I believe (I don't have that edition, just noticed some problem threads about it). I think you can delete the Anomaly with the monster out of the Anomalies file, using either notepad or GalCiv Writer (Be sure to make a copy before you do that). Wenn Du die CD ja noch hast, kannst Du's auch mit einem Foto davon versuchen, bzw. die CD selbst nach vorheriger Anfrage beim Support einschicken. Hab' das vor Jahrhunderten auch mal gemacht und damals das Spiel neu bekommen. War allerdings nicht StarDock damals.
