are you using mods? eg omega pack?
Yes
Did your UP pass laws limiting number of modules or banning terror stars?
No
You can see the numbers with wordpad or something similar (not Word). In my last game when I was building my starbase two of the modules would not build. I click on them, it tells me the fee for building them, it says accept or reject, I click accept, it goes out of the screen and my construction ship(I call them that because I don't remember the proper name)is still there and when I click on the starbase the module has not been made. Does anyone know why? :notsure:

I have put a lot of extra time into my games to make them pure evil and the ones that aren't pure evil are chaotic evil. I do have a few pure good and chaotic good games but not even half as many as I do evil but for some reason my little face is a bright blue face. Does anyone know why? And to end like I do all my question posts. Why? :notsure:
Little generous loopcub. They actually like small amounts over a long period of time and as you have just read you never really have to pay because the game will be over before the tribute expires. Play around with it and see if you don't end up with happier AI's and more money in the bank.
I will give it a try on my next game.
Nothing so short. 20 BC usually, and for more turns than you could ever play the game. If that didn't do enough, 40 BC or 60 BC. Later on, before 2190, if I wanted them all to friendly, 100 BCs did the trick for a while, made the end game bribes easier.
I don't use BC for 99 turns. I will give nice large sums of money like 1,000 BC in the beginning or small empires, 5,000 for medium sized empires and 10,000 BC for large empires and if they are a massive empire I will giv
found drones and brain wave mapping the best for getting the AI to overpay when they come to you. Anyone notice others that work regularly like those 2.
I find that Nano Electronics and Stellar Cartography work most of the time. :)

On a small or tiny map you can become bored waiting for anomalies. (:( On bigger maps They come more often LOL But i find that they will appear in the enemies territory.
