just found out Friday WinMX has been around for the last yr after doing a workaround + many of us were unaware...of late the volume of p2p on Limewire has been declining steadily...even the dependable weekend opportunity frame is in decline..give WinMX a looksee for re dLing the patched app @ http://www.winmxgroup.com/ anyone needing to'portforward' with their router to get a TCP connection can automatically do so with the app found here http://www.portforward.com/store/pfconfig.htm

I empathise Jayman....since 'restoring' my Lap 2 weeks ago to freshen apps & update for a fresher C drive, I have been unable to use my LogonStudio or Bootskins....the only way to get a bootscreen I like is to use the one from my Vista Transformation Pack 5.o1 & I can only use the Welcome screen option...if I check password, I get the sterile blue Windows screen w a Logon Window...Bichur tried to assist me w this on the weekend to try & resolve this mystery, but I have recently discovered anothe

I had the same experience recently JC after having to do a 'restore' on my Satelite Notebook...had to give up on both Logon Studio + Bootskins but figured it was because of either Microsoft Windows strict GDI security patches or a Vista Customization Suite I installed but the Suite is well worth the opportunity cost; Logon + Boot DID work flawlessly on my Toshiba for a yr - see the thread from yesterday re Bootskins & Logon Studio not working in the Windows XP category
k...I think in my instance it is my Vista Transformation pack 5.o which re-writes some Window protection dialogues;this all occurred when I had to restore my Lap due to it slowing down due to obsolete apps I used for Spyware & Registry maintenance i.e. PC Tools Spyware Doctor + Registry Mechanic, which for a yr + a hlf thought state of the art; & after 'restoring' the OS with the Toshiba OS disc, Bootskins & Logon Studio would no longer load the skins I have been using for quite some time;I back

yeah, I am having the same difficulty;have used LogonStudio for 2 yrs & now since I have recently done a 'restore', it will not 'load';the app installs but the Logon screen will not load;ditto for using the Bootskin app;the app loads but the skins will not install;is it Windows security or another customization like the Vista Customization pack V 3.6 suite preventing this? Any and all advise & or troubleshooting would be very much appreciated.
