I was in the military, I'm not now (thank the F*ckin' Lord!) but if I was still in, I'm sure I'd be a bit peeved about stop loss, the unarmoured humvees, the civilians getting paid more than I for similar work, the deployment pay, etc. etc. . In regards to your comment, Drmiler, just because I'm a citizen living in G.W.'s America does not make me an informed individual, I certainly don't know all the ins and outs of all Bush domestic policy
Deference
Uhm if a Military person who votes for Bush is like a Chicken voting for 'Col. Sanders'. Than there must be alot of people who like and trust 'Col. Sanders' in the Military. The point stands, Grim, many policies enacted under Bush as well as the war in Iraq, in general, are detrimental to soldiers. Perhaps most of them are just too busy doing their job to spend the time researching the issues... <img src="../images/smile
The whisper is the DLC founded by Bill Clinton internally pushed for support to Kerry inside Democratic circles instead of Dean. One Deaniac I met theorized that it was a failure of the Dean campaign to go from grass roots to national campaign...
Didn't McCain withdraw from the race to give it over to G.W. ?
Hell yes, great pic, thanx!
So, let me get this straight, a military man voting for Bush is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders. Correct?
...and who's voting for Shrek over the Geico Gecko! Come on people!
I'm voting Kerry / Edwards but I'd rather be voting Dean or McCain. This vote from MO!
Great post, and yes, it was the GREATEST F--KING EPISODE OF CROSSFIRE EVER!
Loved the article, great stuff!W
The Democrats should have nominated Howard Dean. ...and we are at 100% aggreement Drag. .
Kerry did a good job of facing the camera and looking strong and decisive, almost enough to erase the Flip Flop brand from his head
True Daiwa, true. And I do believe this debate will actually have less impact then any of the others.
You are over-generalizing, Draginol, and you know how smart that makes you sound...
If you think Kerry's comment about the VP's daughter is going to just disappear, think again! This was mentioned in our Debate Watch group, a member of the student democrats criticized him for this and many heads were bobbing up and down, so, yeah, I missed number 3, you're RIGHT!
Looks like the majority of people aren't agreeing with you Drag. . I'm telling you that most people's impression of this debate is that Bush blew it again.
Pat Buchanan and Noam Chomsky baby! Hell yes!
What happened to the JU blogger elite? Did you guys get in to the cough syrup again? Seriously, Bush relied upon education and pell grants as his crutch with the economy, jobs, french toast, etc. . I watched the debate in a crowd of republicans, democrats, and independents as part of Debate Watch which is a collegiate program encouraging civil debate amongst viewers without any pundit spin to g
Coincidence or conspiracy? I remember a friend of mine showing me that trick. When it's folded correctly, the trees look like the smoke coming out of the "twin towers". The story was that someone in the Treasury dept. knew of the govt. plot that would be used to justify certain actions. Pretty unlikely, but incredible coincidence when you see the trick...
Speaking of the Jesus fish... how many "Darwin Fish" do people generally see on the road I prefer the "truth" fish swallowing up the Darwin, myself. Yeah, baby!
How about this since you are so hard up to know, find a Whacked Out Scientist who has tricked out a De Lorean, go back in time and go there!! Yep, that's what I thought. Thanks anyway.
It's "hard work" criticizing lawyers.
Do you happen to have any links? If these have been proven to be nothing, that's fine, I'd just like to find out. I know a Kerry campaign aide has asserted it's just a pen, but that really isn't quite enough, I mean, seriously, the word of a campaign aide . I'd be glad to move on and get this out of my head, I just want satisfaction. LINX that prove...?
Thanx guys, good stuff, and insightful topic, Myrrander. I also have seen more Kerry Yard signs in this Midwestern town of ~15,000. That's due mostly to the aggressive get out the vote effort by volunteers. Hey, voting for Kerry? You registered? Want a free yard sign?
Back on topic, I was wondering if those giving out bumper sticker reports could provide a general location or a description of the area they are in (even as simple as rural or urban) to assist other readers in getting a better feel for the provided report...
