Just wondering... after expiration of ones OD subscription one could keep on using the installed software packages. How does that work with Infinite?
Keep ya pants on.... 1) Windows 8's only been officially out for 2 days
LOL Windows 8 is out for more than 2 months. You really think Stardock has to wait 2 full months like us losers to get the RTM code in their hands? /M.
Great! And best of all... you've made the one change that was needed to make this the perfect tool for me :-) If you have the "make inactive Windows darken" option activated and all open windows are minimized, the desktop no longer darkens [e classic][/e] Great job and tnx for listening.
Okay, this is a great version... just one request though. If I "make windows under the active window darken to draw attention to the window with focus" in the "Inactive windows" tab then also the destop is darkened if I have programs running while everything is minimized. If all programs running are minimized I would like the desktop not to be darkened (there is no windows having focus at that moment, so darkening the desktop has no use). Martin
What about a sale for already OD subscribers?
Didn't you receive the offer by Email?
LOL This is a real fun place to be. Stardock explains their freeware policy WAY TOO LATE (it should of course have been communicated far before the implementation, so there would have been no need for any questions at all) and for no particular reason the Stardock fanboys start screaming AWESOME! Like they do in each and every post :-) Hahahahahahahaha ROFLOL!!!!!! Can somebody PLEASE explain why this is so awesome? Or better... please don't: I like to have a laugh every once in a while. Mart
Indeed this is really weird... tnx for giving the solution. I doubt if many users would be able to find this solution on their own. M.
It is now showing version 1.95(b).002. is this version 2.0?? confused.
That's how Stardock usually does it's version numbering. Any .9x is actually a beta of the next version. So version 1.95 is a beta of version 2. M.
In case some people forget, basic SkinStudio is free. Existing users get Object Desktop Ultimate so I don't see how existing customers can argue they're getting a bad deal out of it. The renewal price of Object Desktop Ultimate hasn't been set but will probably be $39.95. I also think some people desperately need to go and look at how much things cost and then come back and argue that Object Desktop isn't a great deal.
Hey Brad,<br/
Hi, Yeh well, what can I say... a lot of nice words to announce a 40% price increase. I really have no clue how any client can be enthousiastic about this. But looking at the reactions above, there actually are some. I guess I'm missing something. Martin
I don't see where the Vista Ultimate users are affected by this at all.
I don't think it's that difficult to see where the Vista Ultimate users are affected. Though it would be silly to buy the Ultimate version for the Extra's only IMHO, it was one of the advertised must-haves to get Ultimate. Microsoft failing to deliver any decent Ultimate Extra except for.... dreamscene already frustrates a lot of Ultimate users. Now, if this one and only decent Extra will be made
One of the best suites ever offered at Wincustomize! TNX... this is the quality of subscriber suites I'd expected when signing on the Wincustomize long long long ago... Martin
I agree with Mr Beesley... I use the site rather than the premium browser as well for the same reason... and I agree with all the rest: premium suites/skins!!! Premium suites/skins would be my main reason to (re)subscribe. I would not want to insult the creators of the premium suites that currently come with the subscription, but in my opinion they are not of a "premium" level (and if I may be honest here: they never were, back in those days I was BUYI
Hi GreenReaper, Something went wrong with my last post, so if it appears in between... I'm sorry. I do aggree with you that early subscribers got the best of both worlds, I just think that world 1 was better than world 2 (providing Stardock was supplying subscribers with the amount of games expected). So... I fully understand this step from Stardock's and developers point of view... I just don't understand the subscribers reaction. I se
Okay, I'll be flamed for this comment definately, but nevertheless... I'll just have to get this of my chest. Why is everybody I see commenting here so happy about this phase 2 of TotalGaming.net? I mean... you get f*cked big time by Stardock and still you guys sound happy. So, you paid a lot for a subscribtion and did not get in return what you expected. Now Stardock charges you big money and finally deliver what they should have done in the first pla
Oh well... this is a great suite! But... when I subscribed to WinCustomize I recall it was mentioned that premium suites were included in the subscribtion . I Guess subscribers can only hope that the next premium suite for us will be of the same high quality as this one
