I support the arts. Learning isn't all about books and writing. :) I played the sax in school from 5th grade through graduation. I'm not much for any of that painting, drawing, or sculpting stuff...I can take pretty good pictures, though. :D ~Zoo
Well... raising something, anyway.
Eh...raising that is no miracle. [e digicons][/e]
Zoo....you're such a.......LIBERAL!
You say that as if it's a bad thing... [e digicons]^_^'[/e] Actually, more often than not I'm moderate. If Palin did a better job, I wouldn't have been this harsh...but she sucked, so this is what I wrote. ~Zoo
I believe it was Michael McDonald who wrote, "What a fool believes, he sees."
Ouch. :P I prefer to believe what I see...science minded, that I am. This creationism bullshit perfectly illustrates that quote, though. :D
That's not what the word "species" means in biology, but that's OK because Creationists only use scientific terms; they do not understand them.
Oh, that is lovely. :D ~Zoo

My Democratic biased ripping of Palin got featured? Holy crap! Thank you to which ever mod deemed me fit for that. :D Going for a balance in viewpoints, I imagine...glad to be a part of it. ~Zoo
Disclaimer: I am not slamming Charles or Zoo's articles. But they were presented from a biased - as admitted to by them - perspective and not trying to be unbiased.
Oh, I'm pretty damn biased. :D Even if I try to ignore that, I still think Palin did poorly...it's really all that pandering that got to me. Your "Joe Sixpack", your "hockey moms", the winking, the "TERRORISTS HATE OUR FREEDOMS!, the "I KNOW GAY PEOPLE SO I'M NOT A HOMOPHOBE LOL!" All just e
My take is that your mind was closed; I doubt anything less than a Gettysburg equivalent would have swayed you, if that. Not that that's a bad thing.
Haha! My mind's not as closed as you might think. It has rusty hinges...but it'll swing open if pushed. Palin just didn't do it for me. I don't think I would ever switch over and support her...but she had the potential to go up a few notches in my book...she failed in t
I would call the debate a draw, which is a victory for Palin.
It's nice to have low standards, I guess. :P
Palin was very positive and optimistic.
Except against those darn "corrupt Wall Street businessmen" that took advantage of those poor average Americans.
Zoo pretty much had these feeling before he even saw the debate so I am not surprised to see this article at all. I think this article was over the top against Palin but, this is America and people have the right to like or dislike someone regardless.
Me, over the top? You don't say. ;) I knew Palin would do this, so I was prepared to be a gratuitous ass. I sort of wished she could have eased my opinion of her...but, no such luck. ~Zoo
You should be, as she's 100 times more qualified than Obama.
She's shown me nothing to instill that kind of confidence.
Too bad she didn't bring up William Ayers.
Zoo's was strictly a Ms. America standard where there was no analystical attempt at what was said, or the context. Something you would read from one of the candidates' campaign spokesman.
I'm not analyzing anything....nor do I pretend to be. Just my thoughts, that's all...oh and being an unbridled asshole. Ya'll know I didn't like Palin going into it...she didn't change my mind in slightest. I wasn't even sure of who the hell Biden was going in, now
Nice little circle jerk you got goin' here.
Well, you right wingers get enough of them...thought we'd have one to change it up a bit. :)
Whether you are willing to see it or not, she held her own.
If 'held her own' means not saying "Fuck it." and running off stage, then sure. I know you honestly can't say that she was good at this.
I don't necessarily have a problem with Palin, but she's going to expand her hor

Oh, I almost forgot. Did anyone catch the "THEY HATE OUR FREEDOMS!" bit she pulled? Nothing like securing the ignorant redneck vote, I guess. And that 2nd Holocaust bit? Where the hell did that come from? ~Zoo
As a male, I find myself attracted to her in a way that has nothing to do with her politics (I'm liberal).
Don't politick with your dick, my friend. Palin may be hot...but she ain't got this VP thing down. Biden ripped her up. ~Zoo

Palin was a parrot for McCain and she offered little straight answers. She dodged answers like someone would dodge bullets. "I may not answer questions the way Biden or the moderator want me to." Code for, "I'm going to stick to my talking points and not directly answer any of these questions." It was a poor performance in my opinion, and Biden without a doubt won this one. I go off a bit in my article because her pandering to the "sixpack Joes" and "hockey mom
The show was good; it was more fun that last week's,
Definitely...I actually paid attention this time around.
I came away all the more assured that Sarah Palin would be BAD for this country.
Couldn't agree more...she hasn't the faintest idea of what the hell is going on.
This isn't going to matter anyway IMO
Probably not...but I'm just glad we got to see how Palin works...which is not very well. I've never seen such question dodging during a debate. I like how Biden called her on it. "I didn't hear a plan." and "She didn't answer the question." Calling people on their bullshit is poetry in motion. :)
She did way way way better than in her interviews,
Yeah, but that's not saying much. :
