Same thing happened to me! I paid, they thanked me ... and that was it! SDC finds no update and no AP :( I was not asked for a registration # anywhere . Dondo, did you work this one out ? Anybody ?
Hi guys, while we're on the subject ... I bought AP as a CD version, but my SDC doesn't find any update (I have galciv v1.2). I am still on galciv and no AP, why is that?
I have played galciv for days, and I have already decided I would purchase Galciv II. But there are a couple things that could use enhacement, imho: - space combat: fleet formations that would add different bonuses (this would make more interesting strategies) and that would use more than one square (I would love to actually see them) - macro management: possibility to ctrl-select different planets on a tactical view screen and group manage them. So far we can only manage
Are you sure you need to invade until victory? if you invade them with destructive bonuses and manage to kill off a significant amount, say 60%, and still get thwarted, you can try and trade that planet for peace. It worked for me several times (though only on beginner's level). Don't look too close at what it may do to your ethical score, though ;) (I didn't check this out, since I had long gone infamous)
