A friend would tell you the truth. That seating arrangement wasn't my idea. I can't make them not sit by me. I was in a lot of pain that day. Emotionally and physically, I wasn't ready for that first conversation. I'm sorry that it turned out the way it did. Walking away was the easiest way to escape some of the pain.
