The payment levels of pro atheletes are only too high when the populus decides as a collective that they don't want the prices of their tickets at 300 dollars apiece for nosebleed sections. Really, consumers choose to pay athelete that much because they pay high ticket prices. I don't think that atheletes should be payed extremely large sums of money, but I don't buy tickets, so I don't have the right to complain. Does that help?
