Me: This is quite possibly the most insanly stupid thing I've ever heard of! hahahahahahahahaha!!!! I can only hope that the next time I'm faced with an insanely stupid thing I have the "balls" to point it out like that. BTW, I'm really really really glad you're ok.
To St. Hubbins: You are a jackass. No supporting statement necessary. I triple that motion. You managed to alienate a LOT of people in your diatribe, St H. People you know very little about.
While I hold those beliefs, I try very hard not to push those beliefs on others. Gideon, I stand with you on this issue (perhaps from the other side, but with you nevertheless).
This is a crude stereo-type but.. yes it was...in my experiences I've found that Democrats tend (not always) to blame Republicans for the bad things and the Republicans tend (not always) to blame the Democrats.
you go girl!! It sometimes boggles my mind the things we woman can do.
One week to the day before Geoff died, I was in his town and thought about swinging by the coffeeshop where he was known to hang out. I even went so far to pull up in front of it and rummage through my car and purse to find his cell number to give him a call and see if he were there. I couldn’t find it. This shop is kind of a cliquey place and I knew I would get st
oh my god that's funny. (some days I'm SOOOO easily amused)
Merry Isthmus??
Whether you knew him 1 week or 10yrs, the sting of the loss is still there. This is so true. I did not know before. Anyone who is touched by a friend for any amou
He was here. Yes he was. Thanks, Shovel. Sometimes it's the simple, obvious things that provide the most comfort.
Thanks Raven....I'm still in shock. I don't why it hit me as hard as it did. But my eyeballs hurt from crying.
I just found out that my friend is dead. I can’t believe it. No one close to me has ever died and now my friend is gone. I had just met him right before Christmas and had only just begun to get to know him. He had an amazing sense of humor: dry, witty, intelligent, and almost…pretentious. His disdain for those that didn’t “get it” amused the hell out of me and I
There's just so many things wrong there that it boggles my mind. So what now for him? He transfers over to a geometry class that's got a head start on him. Not that it matters for him because he would've just slept through the geometry class instead of the algebra. Oh man...What more can the school do for him? What more SHOULD the school do for him? I can see with someone like this why some teachers would just throw their hands up in th
First, why didn't it work for him? The company that he went through failed to provide him with the support it had promised him. And that the market for worms wasn't as "active" as he had been led to believe. That's the extent that I know. Just be cautious, and aware. Good Luck.
Well polls closed here a bit ago and reports are hovering at around 72% voter turnout with 22 casualties today in the course of voting (which is about a normal day in Iraq). I am not saying YOU trivialize it, I'm saying that when I read that outloud to her,
I don't really. I just read an article about it a while ago. I would think there would be, but I wouldn't know for sure without digging deeper. Luckily I haven't had to deal much with power supply issues cause electricity scares me.
I love reading your articles about your little guy, cause he's the same age as my little guy! They are so darn cute sometimes.
I'll read your rebuttal to her. The thing I took from her reaction was to never trivialize the dead.
Beatst he murder rate in the USA. oh, I'll make sure to tell her that. I'm sure that'll make her feel better....
OK, I read this outloud to K, (excluding the "assclown" of course) and what did she focus on? The 22 casualites. An average day? On her own accord, she did the math and came up with 8030 dead a year. She was appalled. I did NOT offer my own slant to this, as I try to never slant anything that she learns. Just thought you'd be interested to hear her reaction and what she thought was important about what you write.
I don't play WoW either:) Oh, c'mon, use that brain like I know you can and draw the parallel between WoW and some of the other computer games you DO play.
Check out Draginol's "WoW - My waste of time is more valid than your waste of time.." article: Link Then bite your tongue!
also...hmmm, old emachine? I read something a while ago about power supply issues with emachines...not getting enough power I mean. Just a thought.
my first guess would be the CMOS battery.
