I hate people who say they hate me solely because of my citizenship. It also goes to follow that I also dislike people who would like me due to accident of birth. What am I trying to say? Basically that I’m offended when someone throws out, “Oh, I HATE Americans!” It’s a big country, people, and with vastly differing viewpoints. Don’t judge me based on

Please be very very careful in the worm-farming thing. We have a friend who tried it. It didn't work out for him.

I finished closing out all three companies I bookkeep for with one whole business day to spare! In this last two-week pay period I had a total of 75.25 hours, not too bad with 80 being the max I will do (seeing as how I don’t get overtime). BUT, get this, in this same pay period I was out sick one day, and took another half day off for an eyeball appt. So, wow, if

does this mean that your not afraid to have your appendix taken out I'd almost forgotten about that! Yeah, part of the path to atheism for me included a period of trying out different ideas and concepts. This one was along the lines that if there were a god, wouldn't he want us to take care of everyt

It's all in the beholder--including atheism. Haha, touche. Actually, I do feel like my main point was completely missed here...and that is the end work. Someone was really offended this week that I would enjoy Piers Anthony because this person said Anthony employs the services of a ghostwriter

Have I EVER not respected your right? No. And I will continue to do so. But please don't disrespect me by painting me with a brush of an ugly color as you paint your version of "athesits." Maybe we're miscommunicating here. I call myself atheist. Maybe that's not what you would call me.

It all boils down to the perception of art; what is an artistic masterpiece to one person is mind candy to another. And that is a whole 'nother subject. My appreciation of the art, or lack thereof, is completely independant of my opinion of the creator of said art. But I will agree with you that what

I don’t give a rats ass about the artist, it’s the work that I get excited about. So Ashlee Simpson can’t sing: I can’t like her song? So Piers Anthony ghostwrites: I can’t enjoy those stories? Give me a break. Janet Jackson flashed her boobie? I’m still gunna boogie-woogie to the beat. Edgar Allan Poe was whacked. Ring out the bells, bells, bells, the rolling

I so can't imagine what it must be like for you TW....I was lucky enough so that when my first husband was stationed away for a year, I lived with my parents or his parents and they took care of these things for me. Then, with my current husband being in the Guards, when he went away for his two week stint, that's when everything would break. Once he had a December training, the water heater broke while I was showering and had shampoo in my

Some times, you get tired of being a strong woman, of being the one to hold it all together and you just want for once to say, "No. I'm not ok.' And to be taken seriously. At least, sometimes it's like that for me.

Perception. All of my memories and recollections are of course from my viewpoint. Victors write history, and in my history I am the victor. But I still can’t help but wonder if the people in my most favorite memories saw things the way I did, or if my interpretations of their actions and motivations are accurate. I despise malls. Went to one yesterday a
