Do you have the correct programs? Such as WindowBlinds, IconPackager, or DesktopX? You also need Theme Manager for "suites". You can download some of them by going to the "Software" section Link Some are free to try out, and some cost money. I hope this helps.

Removing registry entries is not necessarily a requirement. You can just deselect any options selected to "Load at start-up or similar" in customizing software, return Windows to the default theme including any icons, unload all programs. Then do the uninstall, reboot, then delete any leftover WB subdirectories in Program Files. Reinstall, reboot, load WB and apply a skin, then go to the per applications and select the exclus

TDEJenkins, Have you tried the "Install skin from web" option at the upper right side of the WB Configure panel? Also, which skins are you having problems with? I would be glad to test the downloads to my machine if you like.

Hmm, Okay, let's see if this will work (I apologize if you have already tried this one): Start Icon Packager, Select the Icons & Cursors category at left of configuration panel - this should give you a list of images in the list at center. Click the "Folders" button on top to see if the default windows folder shows up in the list (it may or may not since there is an issue). If it does, highlight it and click the "Change" butt

morwyn, The Help & Support path in XP Pro is "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\helpctr.exe" (where "C" is the letter drive). Whether you have Home or Pro, it is probably the same. If I find the others, will post here again.

Even though that machine is a bit old, I would agree that you should be able to install XP. Suggestions: If the old drive was working fine, I would reinstall everything to bring computer back to where it originally was, then boot up on that drive to verify it works and your cables are still communicating with the MoBo. If all is well, run the Upgrade Advisor from the XP disc and see if you have any driver or hardware issues y
