What version DesktopX are you running? I have version 2.40.035 and when I go to the "Theme" tab in the "Configure DesktopX" dialog and click "Load" in the "Theme" section there is a theme named "Default". It loads up a Calendar, Clock, Mailbox, Google search box, and also displays Internet, Computer, and OS info in black text just above the taskbar. I would start by going to the Icon Packager directory: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\IconPackager\Themes" - ("C:\Program Files\Stardock\IconPackager\Themes" if you don't have the full ObjectDesktop suite), after download and see if the Icon Package was written to the directory. surfer349, I don't use systats, so I am not sure on that part. If you want to start over, copy any images you want to save to a folder in say "My Documents", deselect any option in objectdock configuration to run at start-up, return GUI to the default settings, unload any running programs (except Firewall and Anti-Virus), then uninstall objectdock. evolvedweb, If you did not unload WindowBlinds before uninstalling, it may have created an issue. You have two options that I know of: 1) Reinstall WindowBlinds, run it, then unload it (right click on system tray icon and select "Unload WindowBlinds"), then go to Display Properties and select "Windows XP" in the drop down list under the "Themes" tab (first tab on left), click apply. Please be a bit more specific. Assuming you have CursorXP installed, open "Configure CursorXP" and check to see if the "Disable all" option is selected (found on the "CursorXP" tab under the preview pane) - deselect it if it is, this should allow you to at least apply any themes that came with the program. First you will need all of the programs that are required for a "suite" - it would just be a WindowBlind if that is all you have installed. I would try to load a suite that came packaged with Theme Manager (I believe "Gemini" or "Pix Office" both do) while disconnected from the internet feed. If I understand you - you are getting a "recent documents" listing in the context menu when you right click the desktop? I would like to know the answer to this one too. I have the same issue, though I use IconPackages so it is installed and while it is installed the icons stay correct. I have seen the message "Error loading Cache.dll" telling me to reinstall to correct the problem. I have not tried it yet, but the next time I uninstall if I have to, I am going to "Rebuild icon cache" and then "Restore all icons" before uninstall to see if that helps.

I had an issue that was not nearly as bad, but I could not rid myself of the issue without the use of "ondt_zapper" utility. It worked for me, so here is the link to my post where you will see a link to this utility.
