Do you still have WindowBlinds running? If so, it sounds like one of two possibilities: 1 - The option "Make minimize button minimize to tray" under "WindowBlinds configuration panel\User Overrides\Advanced Settings section" has been enabled. 2 - The previous skin had this option scripted into the skin and the function is still holding on. To fix #1, just deselect and click "Apply Changes". To fix #2, unload WindowBlinds > restore the XP default theme

If you are running any other programs that would customize the toolbar (or task pane), I would suggest unloading it to start. I would further suggest the following: 1 - Use WB configuration to select and apply the "Windows Classic" theme 2 - Unload WB 3 - Restore all icons to the XP default 4 - Reboot the computer 5 - Restore the XP default "Luna" theme via the Display Properties\Themes tab\Theme drop-down list. 6 - Start WindowBlinds and

If you have the following sub-directory: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds", you can look in that folder to see if you have the "wbui.dll" file. If I am not mistaken, this is the file needed for WindowBlinds to be integrated with the Display Properties dialog. If the aforementioned sub-directory and file exists, and you have some skin folders that were successfully downloaded and installed to that directory, you can try registering the "wbui.dll" using the 'regsvr32.ex

For colorizing a skin, you have 2 choices: 1 - use the "Change skin color" link found (I believe, if memory serves for version 4.4) on the right side of the preview pane when looking at the "Skins" list in WindowBlinds configuration panel. 2 - use the SkinStudio program to edit the skin and save the changes if the "Change skin color" function in WindowBlinds configuration panel does not serve the purpose you need. Hi Donna, In my opinion, the following is the most efficient way, and has always worked for me: 1 - Create a folder with all your icons needed for the package, and then open and expand it so that it occupies 1/2 of your screen vertically. AnvariX, I would suggest that you clear the cache for ObjectDock. This means unloading ObjectDock and then deleting the "ObjectDock" (and/or "ObjectDockPlus") folder found in "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder. The "Local Settings" folder is a hidden folder. Note - there is no folder named "cache", just folders bearing the relevant program's name which contain the cached user preferences. In fact, I purchased Object Desktop about 20 minutes after downloading, installing, testing, and uninstalling the free WB 4.2.
