Oh man, photobucket is the worst, use imageshack. Photobucket was always making hi-res shots smaller and it's just crap (I think myspace bought it some time ago). Imageshack gives you the direct link right after uploading it anyway.

The search thing seems to be a bug.
You could always just delete all the skins and reinstall them from the wba's.
Icons doesn't matter where you put them. OD puts several folders all over the place and it's really difficult to keep track of them. Just save them somewhere you'll remember and then just browse to that location when you choose an icon. Backgrounds however should go in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus2\Backgrounds\(appropriate folder) location.
Just switch the "All" next to the search box to the WB icon and it'll only search the WB section. But that is interesting...I went to the WB category, the icon on the search changed, I typed in Spiderman...and it did show results from all categories. Must be a bug.
Messing around with the registry can totally hose your machine, be very careful with that. I just don't buy into this "CCleaner is a magical fix-all tool" nonsense.
I like those Giz, but I think the tabs could do without the second frame piece on the bottom (to make them more compact).
