Here i was idly checking out the forums and this pops up again. Thanks Champas. I don't think it was built for "real". It was an idea that skipped becoming corporeal altogether. The walls no longer had to be built, a global media being built before the walls ever could be.

If there were no truths, then there are no facts, Truth and fact are never quite the same thing, otherwise why the need for separate signifiers. The difference is often the same as that between data and information. Data is, supposedly, empirical while information is the interpretation of that data and

You could also spend a life time on the noble eightfold path of the Buddha, transcend everything to become an enlightened being and become radiant light when you die. There have been reported cases, but then again, what hasn't been reported.

What are you doing up at this hour, by the way? Trying to convince myself that I need to sleep, but somehow it's the only time my in-built lie detector works. The rest of the time the damn thing's on the blink and i can lie to myself as often and as tragically as I want. I'll try bed now though

Damn! Sometimes I'm just not on here as much as I should be. You wanna catch people when they're up but you also want to be around when they're down. It's the difference between Allen and Shakespear really - one's funny, but the other is meaning, the definition of all things. Sorry to hear that you got to the stage where an "outburst" was necessary, but knowing what you are like, you're "outburst" was probably one of my more melodramtic

Exact same thoughts this week, I just lacked the eloquence and the balls (basically) to say it. This reminded me of that scene in Pulp Fiction, Samuel L Jackson to Brett: "Say "what" again. C'mon, say "what" again. I dare ya. I double dare ya motherf**ker, say "what" one more goddamn time!" What that scene is saying, and what you are trying to say, and what Hitler so famously said is - my patience is now at an end!<b

and shadesofgray, that is one of the most flattering compliments I have ever read, you hit me in all the right places. If i was to wish what compliment I would recieve from someone, your's would be it. Thank you, thank you, thank you...oh yeah, thank you!

My first instinct was to keep walking, hand over my face and hope no one would notice, but like a fatal car crash this is strangely fascinating. I guess I have to add my blood to an already messy scene. Mig : Without her I wouldn't be here. How I begged her to allow me just mere glimpses of her written work before JU and then, like a hussy, she started showing whole groups of people . Thanks to this shameless an

Wow. I caused one of those annoying little smilies without even realising it. Is it just me, or is he a condescending little f**k, or what? *oops. excuse the french*

Whats the difference tween catfish and lawyers? One is a slimy, scum sucking bottom feeder, the other is a fish. Little Whip - I notice all the ROFL's and 's and people spitting coffee onto their monitors (which never seems to do it any harm

12:25 AM and the heat's a second, amphibian skin - slimey and toxic. It's beach weather. The salt's still on me and all i needed was a drink but somewhere along the line I forgot. Damn I love this city when the sun shines on it.

yeah sure... the jokes on us all bro... Pretty much Muggaz. I was the biggest fan of Top Gun in its heyday. I mean, it was iconic, right? For a generation that had grown up thinking that the protesters rather than the soldiers of the Vietnam war were cool, Top Gun was the first thing that came along an

Be careful when you point the finger at America - did you know that Sydney is the second most litigious city in the world behind LA? Yeah, this is a problem. There used to be a time people had to be forced into courts. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class=

Dylan - Your always the hand that reaches down from the surface and drags me back up - so cinematic, so heroic *Ferris Bueller you're my hero * More than anything else you always let me know that someone is listening. I know you're not much of one for these politico-wankerish type articles, but you always say hi and you're always so damned nice, which makes me suspicious because

Supposedly I can’t say the word fat anymore…hold on…didn’t I just say it. How about a little experiment: deaf, retard, fat, fag, nigger, heifer, darkie, gay, slopes…should I keep going. Where are the thought police? Why aren’t my hands bound and my ankles tied, being led down the street like the foaming, rabid dog that I am? Supposedly that is what

The reason why I placed them on the right and not the left is simple. The right wants as little governmental control as possible Interesting, because facism is on the extreme right and yet it is in practice total and absolute control exerted by government and the armed wing of the government - the milit

By the way: everytime I put some time into trying to search out some honest, rational anarchist literature, I run into supremacy propaganda. Have you got any suggestions? It's a problem, isn't it. I would suggest going back to the basics - Bakunin to understand Anarchism as a political project and Max S

Ouch. Oh I wish you wouldn't have said that and just done the story instead. You still could... I'm considering it, but I think I might have to change the sport. Couldn't use the same descriptions now, could i?

2nd: Are you sure about this statement? It seems to me that Marxism (not Lenin- or Stalin- ism) suggests that each person will have a natural place, each to his/her own abilities, and then the whole evolves into a contained community, where contamination or backward thought would be impossible--and therefore this final stage of h

Damn good point and a subtle one too. I think that catoblasts concept of a spherical model would come in handy here. Anarchism being the result of either extreme of the spectrum going to far, even though i think this speculation might give too little credit to the theoretical work that has been invested in anarchism as a philosophy.
