Blame my parents and their debauched and frenetic home on the banks of the equator (Brazil). A smile and a thankyou is more than i would expect and similar to a gift wrapped savory when it has your moniker signing it off. Marco XX

*imaginary conga (?) line goes off in my head - "Marco is the greatest, da, marco is the greatest, da...."* Blushing is known to increase life expectancy and the release of pleasant neurotransmitters throughout the brain (or is it the otherway around, with pleasant neurotrans causing blushing. I think Descartes might have already had this discussion). I'll try to be the
You'll get sick of saying thankyou soon. I'll bother you soooo much that you'll have to stop therefor saveing you the risk of unnecessary typing and RSI (god, is that right? the finger or wrist thing) You don't have to say thankyou, even though i understand and i'll never stop thanking you for yours, i love reading your blog and i love to leave the comments. Thanks for
Dharma, Is it possible for humans to sweat prodigiously from in between their toes (ewwwww). Needless to say (sorry Mig), you're causing some strange physiological reactions - stop it;) Dyl, I get as much pleasure from you reading my stuff as i do when i read yours. You add to my writing just by reading it. Thankyou.
It's not pathetic at all. If you look back on your childhood and, at times, want it back, it means you were blessed. And you are right, reading a book when you are a child and then reading a book when you are an adult a two perfectly different things - magic versus reason. I guess that's the joy in having a child, they're the only time machines we know of, the only things that can transport us back. Marco XX
"If i have to lose points to make a point, whatever!!!" As it is in life, so it shall be on JU. Marco
I hold one of those as well (that is that damn aussie schedule) and i find that it messes me up constantly. I find that depending what day it is and the tide of my mood, i work on several international times. New York time one day, Paris time the next. I fear i won't live long. Marco
Muggaz, You do realise that this is an ungodly hour to be "up and about" Obviously trolls keep weird hours...hold on...i see daylight....argggggg Marco
Happy, This much.
As always - thankyou Sally. Marco XX
You already have. You let is know. Marco XX
You did a great thing (you gave more than many of us ever could and you were thankful for it) He accomplished a great thing (he understood before his time and he left his mark on the only history that counts) Both of you should be proud. Marco XX
Btw. I thought you were part of the so-called "in-crowd", you seem to crop up a lot and i get the impression people really like you. Sometimes just a matter of good'ol perception. Marco
I'm here and listening, don't really say much though. Sometimes you have to feel "in" to comment as well. I'm kinda shy so i'm not even sure if people want to hear from me in comments let alone posts. Like me in the rest of the "real world" this is something i'll have to get over soon. Once I do expect to hear a lot more from me. I can see the fly swatter coming out already <img src="../images/smiles/grim.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
The very idea Garden of Angels is one of the most...have you ever noticed how we don't have enough adjectives to describe the beautiful or kind hearted...well, the most beautiful act of kindness and human dignity I've heard about for a very, very long time, if not ever. I don't cry...but i almost did. Children deserve better than this world. I guess it's up to us to give it to them. Marco XX
Dharma, I don't know how to take a compliment. I start getting those unsightly sweat stains under my arms. Just ask Mig. You guys make me want to write. What else could i ask for? Thankyou. Marco XX
Thanks Joe, Sleep deprivation wins again;) Whenever i see your name at the top of a comment i smile. Marco XX
I love women. Really! I married one. Smooth white skin like scented paper. Black hair that sometimes, if you’re lucky, reflects lunar light like a puddle of oil, sucking it in while breathing it out. Her steps are the compass point that her hips revolve around, a sultry swing that whispers as she passes by. I almost got sick on our wedding night. Cor
For so long I have believed the same thing about myself, that i would leave this place of privilege and go to some Central American nation to fight the good fight, a fight without guns and artillery, with hands and words and work and kind gestures. I still haven't left yet, too entangled in my own personal mess, too poor to help those who are poorer (i think that this could be a convenient excuse). too scattered over too broad an internal land
NSW teachers are planning a strike and march to parliment house on thursday to protest our governments refusal to honor pay rises. A 5.5% increase had already been given last december, but a further rise has been postponed after the government claimed that it could not "afford" this further rise. Parents are know claiming that the teachers are ho

We're like a plague, the confines of this vast, burnt land being too small for our prodigious egos. We use the internet like viruses use living vectors. And yes, Australia is beautiful. The country itself has moods not unlike English weather, dark memories in rock and bark. I like Man Utd as much as i can like a soccer team even though my loyalty in that graceful game has to go to Brazil, the land of my parents. They're just
Your reason was good. Yes, Aussie. An affliction i'm still working on. Marco
Troy is based on the Iliad by Homer, which is partly based on a war that preceded Homer by more than few years. He's tale is told so as to define exactly what a "dreamy" Greek (or any other) man should look, act and talk like. Courage, built like an ox but still in possession of features that could be considered feminine, loyalty, super human fighters, respectful of the gods, respected amongst men and loved by women. It seems
