You'll need to add the animated shortcut docklet first to your dock and then configure that one to use the animated icon. I think i must missing something,,, i know i cant be this stupid this is what i have done: 1)added the simple animated docket

AndreasV... I tried that one, but for some reason, when the animation loads it is just all scibble lines, no animation,,, now that is if i load it as a shortcut, if i just load the animated icon with no shortcut attached it runs normally..... i just gotta be doing something wrong but i cant figure it out. pictoratus: thanks for the tip on my double posting

Can you have and animated icon as your docked item icon? I have one of the MSN animated icons, when i try to it for my picture,,, it shows up all garbage,, but if i add an animated icon, it will work but i cant add a "file" to it,,,,, the only two animated icons i have right now are the globe and msn thingy,,, would like the animated msn dude as the only icon i have for msn,,,, Possible? thanks
