I have been a member of Stardock and Wincustomize for a few years now. My subcription with OD has expired and I don't want to renew it. My question is Do I have to have Stardock Central still installed on my computer or can I uninstall it but still have the functionality of WB and the rest? I don't like having things on my computer that are not in use at all.

I just want to ask, is there a way to download WB 5 as it doesn't show in Stardock Central as an option? It did a few days ago.
Well this is what I mean, why make an option from within the WB skin browser "Edit in Skin Studio"if it's not going to work.That option should have been left out until they work on it a bit more. It's annoying because I haven't used any of the older versions for a while and I was still used to the way they run. So I forget and wham I hit Edit in Skin Studio, it takes me directly to Stardock Central to purchase the damn thing. I really hate it. But I love the way they have it working as an applic
When I browse the skins in Window Blinds 6 and click to edit a particular skin, it doesn't open the Skin Studio instead it opens up the Stardock site for a purchase. I have renewed my upgrade. I have downloaded it all through Stardock Central. So I don't understand why this is happening. I can edit or create a skin by clicking on the Skin Studio Icon. The W.B. is the Beta version. Should I have an earlier version installed with it also? Another thing is that the products get installed, this time

Have updated my membership with OD. Installed it. I think it is absolutely fantastic. Much, much better than the old stuff I had. In this short time I have noticed that I had no problems with it what so ever. Prior to this latest software I had heaps of problems when new upgrades came up. But this time no. I have uninstalled my Object Desktop which I had on a purchased CD 2004 as I had trouble installing new versions of Icons, W.Blinds and so on. I don't have Windows Vista. It's really easy when it comes to downloading here it's really a great way to purchase, update, brows etc. I really miss it as I have been away for a while.

I have been away for some time from the site but when I first became member and owner of OD in 2004 and Wincustomize. I purchased a CD and have since paid membership here and I am still a member. My misunderstanding is that when I purchased the OD CD I received a letter from Stardock in which I was told that I would have free updates to OD. Now I find that I also have to purchase a Stardock membership or actually pay to upgrade my OD. I have also purchased Icons, themes and so on. I just don't u
I also agree with Citizen SuBFG about people complaining about the skins being old and that they want more with their subscription. Well how much do people really want for that much money. I am also satisified with what we get with subscribing here plus there are so many, many, many skins to download so I just don't see why there should be complaints about how old the skins are as there are daily new ones to be downloaded. I agree with Boss you admin. people are always pushing it up our noses how you are doing your work here as volunteers. Than do it or leave it but don't keep at it "I should have been in bed.......or what ever. Complaining not having enough subscribers well you volunterely are doing a good job to lose the ones you have.
