I don't know it seems like they (Stardock) withhold any useful information every year. It makes the decision on renewing harder and less likely because really each year there is less working useful programs than ever before. If they would only provide an official list of things that are going to be fixed and or dropped.
Agreed.

If you have a current subscription, you get updates & betas... If you don't, you get the version you paid for. Pretty standard really. you go buy Office XP 10 years ago, you will not get Office 2007 for free ;) Alienware Area-51 M17x MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 4GB RAM DDR3 1333MHz Windows Experience Index base score of 5.9 Windows Graphics Experience score is 6.8
For me, I already have a system virtually identical to the one mentioned. Except mine's a lot slower. And cheaper. And not nearly as good.
LMAO! I think I have the same PC you are talking about... It is lightning fast except when it is processing.
Why would anyone feel cheated because of a giveaway like this? Does some random person getting something affect you somehow? Did you not get value for money when you made your purchase? Talk about a sense of entitlement.
Speaking for myself, I do not feel I am entitled to anything. I did get value for my money spent. I was merely trying to convey the fact that you do not see existing custo

This is like the Cell phone company giving crazy deals on a cool phone to new customers. The loyal customers can pay full price and jam it up where the sun doesn't shine. Ah marketing, why take care of the ones you already have. Obviously, they can't give everyone a $4000 PC, but why give one at all. Give the one millionth customer a few free My Color themes, or equivalent. $4000 PC is extravegant. This just leaves a bad taste.

Hi all, I have a WB installed and the backgrounds of my MS Office 2007 are grey (the skin default) 1st I tried to add the .exe of the Office programs in the "change the look of an app" and selected "do not skin". This did not work, as they are still being skinned. My questions are as follows; Does anyone know why adding the apps and selecting do not skin isn't working? Is there another way to change this? I would like my Word and Excel pages
Just remember that double-clicking on the desktop hides all the fences (and icons).
Yes I saw that... I have since loaded a bunch of fences. This is great! double-click... everything I need... double click... disappeared. Ingenious.

I do not use my desktop either... I like to look at my Aquarium 2009 [e digicons];)[/e] However, I started putting some shortcuts in Fences to try it out, and it is way cool. I can see how this would be very handy for people who use their desktop. And it is free!! Way to go Jeff & Stardock!!

A/V, Your work is tops! As soon as I saw BBK (on Christmas Eve... best gift ever), it has been my one and only WB. Truly excellent work. Before BBK I would have about 5 WB in a rotation (roughly a week or so each). Now I when I try another blind... a few hours later... back to BBK. I anxiously await this next project. I think you may have another winner, in my book.

I also have had the explorer.exe crash/restart/crash/restart... etc. very frustrating reinstalled windows XP Pro twice, unistalled everything that has to do with object desktop including SD central. XP Pro works fine now, but can't use the software I paid nearly $50.00 for. Extremely frustrating.
