47Songs, I'm riddled with osteo-arthritis and suffer carpal tunnel, and find that anti-inflammatories are quite helpful with mouse wrist. Your MD can suggest and prescribe appropriate one to suit your needs. However, whilst these can be effective, they do not replace taking regular breaks, even if only for 10 to 15 minutes every so often. Mild stretching exercises are also helpful.

This is my first eyeball of this suite and I think its really cool, Despite the fact that we don't get snow here in OZ, it will grace my festive season desktop nevertheless. It refreshes many fond memories of my childhood in England, to when christmas snow was commonplace, so thanks to all at Stardock <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congrats.gif" bor

maybe Brad should put a psychiatrist on staff, help us with some the pains of addiction. The pains of addiction.....only come with: getting booted/ISP down; power failures; puter downtimes/in the repair shop, and recently for me, when the power cord is sabotaged by wifey....luckily I had a spare.

Right on, BoXXi....but I've time-shifted considerably more than 3 hours. I'm reminded of the "Time Machine" with Rod Taylor, with the sunrise and sunset scenes rapidly passing....mine don't change so quickly, but when dusk and dawn seem only moments apart for days on end....well... time travel seems less of a sci-fi fantasy

Skinning is universal, embracing and encompassing all ages and gender....possibly aliens as well Talent and desire might help to keep it alive, but the community spirit here is what keeps it vibrant and healthy

The smart trick MS employed was not rushing out Vista to compete with Mac Tiger on the shop shelves. Of course they run the risk of being accused of copying and all that OS wars hype, but surely it makes better business sense to delay the release to iron out known issues and others discovered during Beta testing by developers and IT professionals. Ultimately the user benifits, and I'd rather wait a bit longer to bring home an OS that's been well and

The sad thing here is that these virus writers intent is to cause harm and distress....worse still that total strangers to them are adversely affected, meaning there's not even the element of revenge, say, to at least give it some meaning or reason. It's such a senseless act and virus writers should be castrated with a butter knife....ouch, and deservedly so. I'm not normally one for violent reprisals, but these parasites make my blood boil

Hit the nail on the head, horizon....had a programmable Logitec for a couple of years now and it has more features than this new Apple one. "I hate those meeces to pieces"....yep, Jinx was a PC enthusiast, too....perhaps he and Mighty Mouse'll get together and agree on this one

Webgizmos...it's not so much that I need a spell checker...more like engaging my brain before putting my typing finger into gear, and I mean finger (as in non-plural) cos using more than one gets confusing. BTW...no brain farts here, just an old fart/dog trying to learn new tricks....quite slowly, I might add. Yep, having extensions showing h

Ok Deb....so you dress and undress your other man, you've obviously invited him into your bedroom and provided some first aid, but you've made no mention of the other-other man's take on all this. Have you been given dirty looks and the silent treatment over this love affair? Have you ever had your password changed secretively....candles lit so you think the power's off? If not, your addiction is only in its early stages and there's st

Shotgun989...it's nice to see such humility and maturity in someone who's age is frequently associated with knowing it all and voicing self opinion. Keep playing in the sandbox tho....over time your efforts will become future monuments and you will have earnt the respect and admiration you've shown here for others who may be somewhat older than yourself. BTW, I am 3 times your age and have no skinning abilities at all, so age is

Bichur, sorry about the delay in answering. My problem began when ND was first installed and after a reboot. When my system restarted I noticed that my icons had been replaced with just the shells and IconX wasn't functioning, nor was CursorXP Plus. All were working prior to ND's install and all had to be reactivated manually. When reopening IE, I got a message about a script change pop up and disappear before I could read it p

I have found some wallpapers with the same name and want to store in the same folder, but the new additions always want to replace the originals and I'm unable to rename them. When I try to rename a wallpaper, I get a warning message that the file will become unstable and it changes format if I proceed. Can I rename these files within Windows somehow, so they maintain stability and format, or do I need a 3rd party program? Thanks for any h

aquabelic...Beta 1 is a bare bones version and does not include many of the feature to be included in Beta 2, let alone the final release of Vista......so obviously, if you're looking for all the whistles and bells, you're going to be disappointed and give an unqualified opinion based on that emotion. And just because the Mac OS got pushed out there first, it doesn't mean that MS has copied anything. Vista/Longhorn has been on the drawing b
