I must admit that I lean towards AMD's Ryzen series more than Intel's Core series, though I do have a 10th Gen Core i7 machine that I do like to use as well. As for upgrading, well I have no immediate plans as I have 5 working PCs that more than suit my needs. However, having said that, if one of those machines were to fail then I may look at the Ryzen 9 5900X.... though in recent times I've had to get builds or upgrades done at a local PC store due to arthritic hands and cramps

Some more shows I have been watching in 2021 and rate as pretty good: Some have been around a while, but 'Clarice', based on the FBI agent in 'Silence of the Lambs, is new and pretty darned good and stars an Aussie actress in the lead role. I've not been around for a month or so due to having to move house and then settle into the new place. The new place is bigger, much nicer and has a fourth bedroom for visitors and when the grand-kids come over to stay a few days. Moreover, we don't have maintenance issues or the leaky roof that we had to endure at the last place because the owner there refused to carry out necessary work. Once our lease was up we were out of there, but what a major task that turned out to b

Thanks for the great cackle, Aussie007, I read the first joke and went on to near piss myself laughing at several others. I particularly love the one about the prosecution lawyer asking an old lady if she knew him, then the defense lawyer.... and what the judge said to them both. Hilarious!

I've never transferred any wallpapers from here onto my mobile phone. As was suggested earlier in the conversation, there are enough themes and wallpapers available on both the IOS and Android platforms already. So no, we don't really need another gallery for mobiles.
I watched the earlier Star Trek series and enjoyed them very much; however, I have not begun watching Discovery as yet, largely because I was already invested in other series when it first began and just never got around to it. I do believe that I can catch up with it on one of our free streaming channels, and now that this thread has jogged my memory I shall take a look later on. Of all the previous Star Trek series, Voyager was/is my favourite, I think because it departed from

I never really liked the default GUI of any of the Windows OSes and always looked to customise them to better suit my tastes. Back in the days of '95 and '98, I used a program called Desktop Architect to customise those OSes and it was good at what it did back then, but when I upgraded to XP it was a little lacking, which led me to Stardock and purchasing ObjectDesktop, IconPackager, Cursor XP and others. I never liked the look of XP, it reminded me too much of Fisher Pric
