When you press it, it puts an image of your desktop into the Windows clipboard, you won't see anything happen when it does it. You can then paste that into a graphics program and save it. [Message Edited]

There's a Jackie Chan film called Thunderbolt which is fantastic. It's based around street-racing, but since it's the Chinese doing the stunts, the car scenes are stunning. (F&F directors take note). I suppose Bullit should also get a mention too, but personally I don't understand the hype with the car chase in that. It's not very long, and it's not entirely exciting. Also loved Duel too, the one based on the Stephen King novel about the guy who ends up in a road rage battle with a truck.
Nope, totally untrue.
"But isn't that comment just a bit hypocritical?" Err...no.
Plus 100 to upload variations on the changed bulb each hoping that theirs will capitalise on the attention garnered by the original, bringing them comments, appreciation and a meaning to their empty lives.
If you make the suggestion on the WB newsgroups, you might be able to have that implimented in the next build.
The obvious answer would be that your subscription has expired. However, if that's not the case, mail [email protected] with the issue.
There's a few sections that have some attributes that aren't active. In some cases it's for future compatability, in others I think it's just been overlooked. The left and right alignments for the username do work, but the top and botom don't, and you need to play with font sizes to move that.
"When is there NOT a close button on a window? " Ooh, riddles, I like those! Reminds me of an old Batman episode.
Aside from the money element frm client work, I personally skin because I want to make my PC look the way I want it to. Sometimes I'll see a cool skin uploaded, and try that, but it all comes back to the fact that if you want something exact, and you have the skills, you are able to make it. The common problem with skinning is that people belive there's an unwritten rule that implies you HAVE to upload everything you make. Few people cotton on to the fact that you can skin your system
Did you report the problem to Stardock support?
"It's like a cows opinion......it's moo."
It wasn't even a skin. It was a jpg inside a zip. I took care of it.
There's enough screenshots of it anyway, so it's not as though it going to look any different after you buy it.
They're more than working on it, it already exists. It just won't have much hope of release unless the low res one bugs can be resolved.
Sounds like the forced colouring option is enabled.
You've pretty much already got it. Right-Click is somewhat of an ObjectBar lite, as it's the desktop menu from OB that's going to be stand alone.
I'm not sure where you're getting your not quite accurate info from, but the chances of the high-res one seeing the light of day are very slim because the current Bootskin that's available is causing problems for some people. Only way it'll be out is the low-res one gets to a point where it's totally bug free.
That's how you stop it loading. When you switch to classic, it's saying to Windows 'Don't load Windowblinds'.
Loads instantly here too. Should hard code your text colour on the main area. It's using whatever the system default text colour is, so if someone is using a light colour, the text is hard to make out.
Yeah, Hooge shouldn't be distributed any longer. It was originally a freeware font, along with 2 other he made, but then he started doing them in packs that had to be purchased.
It won't have any impact on this type of area really. The way entertainment law works is(was) that if you sampled a piece of music from another artist/musician, and used it on a commercial recording, you didn't have get permission from the original artist, however, you were lawfully bound to pay that artists royalites.
This isn't meant to be a contest. I simply posted the pic , in response to the comment saying that kind of depth cannot be done with gradients, to show what 'can' be acheived in PS simply using nothing more than them. (Apart from the obvious outline which was stroked). It wasn't supposed to say 'This is better than yours'. May be more prudent if I remove the image. [Message Edited]
I think it's just jpg compression. Because my image was small, I was able to have the quality at full, and the file size wasn't too bad. It's not the quality of Styl's actual graphics themselves.
"My skin has a soft polished metal feel over it, hippy's has a bit more of a plastic feel." I thought the original point wether or not one could do that 3D style with gradients, not make metal.
